1 O o isla sannaddaasba, bilowgii boqornimadii Sidqiyaah uu boqorka ka ahaa dalka Yahuudah, sannaddii afraad bisheedii shanaad ayaa Xananyaah ina Casuur oo ahaa nebigii Gibecoon ka yimid igula hadlay guriga Rabbiga dhexdiisa iyadoo ay wada joogaan wadaaddadii iyo dadkii oo dhammu, oo wuxuu igu yidhi,

And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of Jehovah, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,

2 R abbiga ciidammada oo ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu leeyahay, Anigu harqoodkii boqorka Baabuloon waan jebiyey.

Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.

3 I ntaanay laba sannadood dhammaan ayaan halkan ku soo celin doonaa weelashii guriga Rabbiga oo uu Nebukadnesar oo ah boqorka Baabuloon halkan ka qaatay, oo uu Baabuloon la tegey.

Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Jehovah's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried to Babylon:

4 O o Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Waxaan halkan ku soo celin doonaa Yekonyaah ina Yehooyaaqiim oo ahaa boqorkii dalka Yahuudah, iyo maxaabiistii dadka Yahuudah ee Baabuloon lala tegey oo dhan, waayo, harqoodka boqorka Baabuloon waan jebin doonaa.

and I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went to Babylon, saith Jehovah; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

5 M arkaas Nebi Yeremyaah baa la hadlay Nebi Xananyaah iyadoo ay wada joogaan wadaaddadii iyo dadkii guriga Rabbiga dhex taagnaa oo dhammu.

Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of Jehovah,

6 O o Nebi Yeremyaah wuxuu yidhi, Aamiin, Rabbigu saas ha yeelo. Rabbigu ha wada sameeyo erayadii aad sii sheegtay oo weelashii guriga Rabbiga ha soo celiyo, oo kuwii maxaabiis ahaanta loo kaxaystay oo dhan Baabuloon ha ka soo celiyo oo meeshan ha keeno.

even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: Jehovah do so; Jehovah perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of Jehovah's house, and all them of the captivity, from Babylon unto this place.

7 H ase ahaatee bal adigu haatan maqal eraygan aan kula hadlayo dhegahaaga iyo dhegaha dadkan oo dhan.

Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people:

8 N ebiyadii waayihii hore oo aniga iyo adigaba inaga sii horreeyey waxay waddammo badan iyo boqortooyooyin waaweyn wax kaga sii sheegeen dagaal iyo masiibo iyo belaayo.

The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.

9 N ebigii nabad wax ka sii sheega, oo uu eraygii nebigaasu run noqdo, markaas nebigaas waxaa loo aqoonsadaa in Rabbigu isaga dhab ahaan u soo diray.

The prophet that prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that Jehovah hath truly sent him.

10 K olkaasaa Nebi Xananyaah harqoodkii qoortii Nebi Yeremyaah ka qaaday oo uu kala jebiyey.

Then Hananiah the prophet took the bar from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it.

11 M arkaasaa Xananyaah dadkii oo dhan hortiisa ku hadlay oo wuxuu yidhi, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Sidaas oo kale intaanay laba sannadood dhammaan ayaan quruumaha oo dhan uga jebin doonaa harqoodka Nebukadnesar oo ah boqorka Baabuloon. Kolkaasaa Nebi Yeremyaah iska tegey.

And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon within two full years from off the neck of all the nations. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

12 O o markii Nebi Xananyaah uu harqoodkii ka jebiyey qoortii Nebi Yeremyaah dabadeed ayaa eraygii Rabbigu u yimid Nebi Yeremyaah, isagoo leh,

Then the word of Jehovah came unto Jeremiah, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the bar from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

13 T ag, oo waxaad Xananyaah ku tidhaahdaa, Rabbigu wuxuu kugu leeyahay, Adigu waxaad jebisay harqoodkii qoriga ahaa, laakiinse waxaad meeshiisa ka yeelan doontaa harqood bir ah.

Go, and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Thou hast broken the bars of wood; but thou hast made in their stead bars of iron.

14 W aayo, Rabbiga ciidammada oo ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu leeyahay, Quruumahan oo dhan waxaan qoortooda kor saaray harqood bir ah, si ay ugu adeegaan boqorka Baabuloon oo ah Nebukadnesar, oo iyana way u adeegi doonaan, oo weliba xayawaanka duurkana isagaan siiyey.

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may served Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.

15 M arkaas Nebi Yeremyaah wuxuu Nebi Xananyaah ku yidhi, Xananyaahow, bal haatan i maqal. Rabbigu kuma soo dirin, laakiinse waxaad dadkan ka dhigaysaa inay been isku halleeyaan.

Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah: Jehovah hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.

16 S idaas daraaddeed Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogow, anigu waan kaa fogayn doonaa dhulka korkiisa, oo isla sannaddan ayaad dhiman doontaa, maxaa yeelay, waxaad ku hadashay caasinimo Rabbiga ka gees ah.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will send thee away from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast spoken rebellion against Jehovah.

17 S idaas daraaddeed Nebi Xananyaah isla sannaddaas bisheedii toddobaad ayuu dhintay.

So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
