1 D ios mío, Dios mío, ¿por qué me has desamparado? ¿Por qué estás tan lejos de mi salvación, y de las palabras de mi clamor?

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? far from my salvation, from the words of my groaning?

2 D ios mío, clamo de día, y no respondes; Y de noche, y no hay para mí reposo.

My God, I cry by day, and thou answerest not; and by night, and there is no rest for me:

3 P ero tú eres santo, Tú que habitas entre las alabanzas de Israel.

And thou art holy, thou that dwellest amid the praises of Israel.

4 E n ti esperaron nuestros padres; Esperaron, y tú los libraste.

Our fathers confided in thee: they confided, and thou didst deliver them.

5 C lamaron a ti, y fueron librados; Confiaron en ti, y no fueron avergonzados.

They cried unto thee, and were delivered; they confided in thee, and were not confounded.

6 M as yo soy gusano, y no hombre; Oprobio de los hombres, y despreciado del pueblo.

But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and the despised of the people.

7 T odos los que me ven me escarnecen; Tuercen los labios, menean la cabeza, diciendo:

All they that see me laugh me to scorn; they shoot out the lip, they shake the head,

8 S e encomendó a Jehová; líbrele él; Sálvele, puesto que en él se complacía.

Commit it to Jehovah—let him rescue him; let him deliver him, because he delighteth in him!

9 P ero tú eres el que me sacó del vientre; El que me hizo estar confiado desde que estaba a los pechos de mi madre.

But thou art he that took me out of the womb; thou didst make me trust, upon my mother's breasts.

10 S obre ti fui echado desde el seno; Desde el vientre de mi madre, tú eres mi Dios.

I was cast upon thee from the womb; thou art my God from my mother's belly.

11 N o te alejes de mí, porque la angustia está cerca; Porque no hay quien ayude.

Be not far from me, for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

12 M e han rodeado muchos toros; Fuertes toros de Basán me han cercado.

Many bulls have encompassed me; Bashan's strong ones have beset me round.

13 A brieron sobre mí su boca Como un león rapaz y rugiente.

They gape upon me with their mouth, a ravening and a roaring lion.

14 E stoy derramado como agua, Y todos mis huesos se descoyuntaron; Mi corazón se torna como cera, Derritiéndose en medio de mis entrañas.

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is become like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

15 C omo un tiesto se secó mi vigor, Y mi lengua se pegó a mi paladar, Y me has puesto en el polvo de la muerte.

My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue cleaveth to my palate; and thou hast laid me in the dust of death.

16 P orque perros me han rodeado; Me ha cercado una banda de malhechores; Horadaron mis manos y mis pies.

For dogs have encompassed me; an assembly of evil-doers have surrounded me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

17 C ontar puedo todos mis huesos; Entretanto, ellos me miran y me observan.

I may count all my bones. They look, they stare upon me;

18 R epartieron entre sí mis vestidos, Y sobre mi túnica echaron suertes.

They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

19 M as tú, Jehová, no te alejes; Fortaleza mía, apresúrate a socorrerme.

But thou, Jehovah, be not far; O my strength, haste thee to help me.

20 L ibra de la espada mi alma, De las garras del perro mi vida.

Deliver my soul from the sword; my only one from the power of the dog;

21 S álvame de las fauces del león, Y líbrame de los cuernos de los búfalos.

Save me from the lion's mouth. Yea, from the horns of the buffaloes hast thou answered me.

22 A nunciaré tu nombre a mis hermanos; En medio de la congregación te alabaré.

I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23 L os que teméis a Jehová, alabadle; Glorificadle, descendencia toda de Jacob, Y temedle vosotros, descendencia toda de Israel.

Ye that fear Jehovah, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and revere him, all ye the seed of Israel.

24 P orque no menospreció ni desdeñó la aflicción del afligido, Ni de él escondió su rostro; Sino que cuando clamó a él, le escuchó.

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him: but when he cried unto him, he heard.

25 D e ti procede mi alabanza en la gran congregación; Mis votos pagaré delante de los que le temen.

My praise is from thee, in the great congregation; I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

26 C omerán los humildes, y serán saciados; Alabarán a Jehová los que le buscan; Vivirá su corazón para siempre.

The meek shall eat and be satisfied; they shall praise Jehovah that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

27 S e acordarán, y se volverán a Jehová todos los confines de la tierra, Y todas las familias de las naciones adorarán delante de ti.

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto Jehovah, and all the families of the nations shall worship before thee:

28 P orque de Jehová es el reino, Y él regirá las naciones.

For the kingdom is Jehovah's, and he ruleth among the nations.

29 C omerán y adorarán todos los poderosos de la tierra; Se postrarán delante de él todos los que descienden al polvo, Puesto que nadie puede conservar la vida a su propia alma.

All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and worship; all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him, and he that cannot keep alive his own soul.

30 L a posteridad le servirá; Esto será contado de Jehová hasta la postrera generación.

A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

31 V endrán, y anunciarán su justicia; A generaciones que no han nacido aún, anunciarán que él hizo esto.

They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done.
