1 V ino otra vez a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

2 H ijo de hombre, tú habitas en medio de casa rebelde, los cuales tienen ojos para ver y no ven, tienen oídos para oír y no oyen, porque son casa rebelde.

Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not, which have ears to hear, and hear not; for they are a rebellious house.

3 P or tanto, tú, hijo de hombre, prepárate enseres para el destierro, y sal de día delante de sus ojos como quien marcha al exilio; y te pasarás de tu lugar a otro lugar a vista de ellos, por si tal vez se dan cuenta, porque son casa rebelde.

And thou, son of man, prepare thee a captive's baggage, and go captive by day in their sight; and thou shalt go captive from thy place to another place in their sight. It may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.

4 Y sacarás tus enseres de día delante de sus ojos, como enseres de destierro; mas tú saldrás por la tarde a vista de ellos, como quien marcha al exilio.

And bring forth thy baggage by day in their sight, as a captive's baggage, and thou thyself, go forth at even in their sight as they that go forth into captivity.

5 D elante de sus ojos te abrirás paso por entre la pared, y saldrás por ella.

Dig thou through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.

6 D elante de sus ojos los llevarás sobre tus hombros, de noche los sacarás; cubrirás tu rostro, y no mirarás al suelo; porque por señal te he puesto a la casa de Israel.

In their sight shalt thou bear upon shoulder, and carry it forth in the dark; thou shalt cover thy face, and thou shalt not see the ground: for I have appointed thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.

7 Y yo hice como me fue mandado; saqué mis enseres de día, como enseres de destierro, y a la tarde me abrí paso por entre la pared con mi propia mano; salí de noche, y los llevé sobre los hombros a vista de ellos.

And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my baggage by day, as a captive's baggage, and in the even I digged through the wall with my hand; I brought it forth in the dark, bore it upon shoulder, in their sight.

8 Y vino a mí palabra de Jehová por la mañana, diciendo:

And in the morning the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

9 H ijo de hombre, ¿no te ha dicho la casa de Israel, aquella casa rebelde: Qué haces?

Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?

10 D iles: Así dice el Señor Jehová: Esta profecía se refiere al príncipe en Jerusalén, y a toda la casa de Israel que está en medio de ella.

Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: This burden the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.

11 D iles: Yo soy vuestra señal; como yo hice, así se hará con ellos; partirán al destierro, en cautividad.

Say, I am your sign: as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall go into exile, into captivity.

12 Y al príncipe que está en medio de ellos lo llevarán a cuestas y saldrán de noche; horadarán la pared para sacarlo por ella; cubrirá su rostro para no ver con sus ojos el suelo.

And the prince that is among them shall bear upon shoulder in the dark, and shall go forth; they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby; he shall cover his face, that he see not the land with eyes.

13 T ambién extenderé mi red sobre él, y caerá preso en mi trampa, y haré que lo lleven a Babilonia, a tierra de caldeos, pero no la verá, aunque morirá allí.

And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare; and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; but he shall not see it, and there shall he die.

14 Y a todos los que estén alrededor de él para ayudarle, y a todas sus tropas, los esparciré a todos los vientos, y desenvainaré espada en pos de ellos.

And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his troops; and I will draw out the sword after them.

15 Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando los esparza entre las naciones, y los disperse por los países.

And they shall know that I Jehovah when I shall scatter them among the nations and disperse them through the countries.

16 P ero haré que unos pocos de ellos escapen de la espada, del hambre y de la peste, para que cuenten todas sus abominaciones entre las naciones adonde lleguen; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the nations whither they shall come; and they shall know that I Jehovah.

17 V ino de nuevo a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

18 H ijo de hombre, come tu pan con temblor, y bebe tu agua con estremecimiento y con ansiedad.

Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with anxiety;

19 Y di al pueblo de la tierra: Así dice el Señor Jehová sobre los moradores de Jerusalén, en la tierra de Israel: Comerán su pan con temor, y beberán con espanto su agua; porque su tierra será despojada de todo lo que hay en ella, por la maldad de todos los que moran en ella.

and say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, in the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with anxiety, and drink their water with astonishment, because her land shall be left desolate of all that is in it, for the violence of all them that dwell therein.

20 Y las ciudades habitadas quedarán desiertas, y la tierra será asolada; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be a desolation; and ye shall know that I Jehovah.

21 Y vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

22 H ijo de hombre, ¿qué refrán es este que tenéis vosotros en la tierra de Israel, que dice: Se van prolongando los días, y desaparece toda visión profética?

Son of man, what is that proverb which ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days shall be prolonged, and every vision faileth?

23 D iles, por tanto: Así dice el Señor Jehová: Haré cesar este refrán, y no lo usarán más como refrán en Israel. Diles, pues: Se han acercado los días, y el cumplimiento de toda visión.

Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the accomplishment of every vision.

24 P orque no habrá más visión vana, ni habrá adivinación de lisonjeros en medio de la casa de Israel.

For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination in the midst of the house of Israel.

25 P orque yo soy Jehová; hablaré, y se cumplirá toda palabra que yo hable; no se diferirá más, sino que en vuestros días, oh casa rebelde, pronunciaré mi palabra y la cumpliré, dice Jehová el Señor.

For I Jehovah; I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall be performed, it shall be no more deferred. For in your days, O rebellious house, will I speak the word and will perform it, saith the Lord Jehovah.

26 Y vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

27 H ijo de hombre, he aquí que los de la casa de Israel dicen: La visión que éste ve es para de aquí a muchos días, éste profetiza para días muy lejanos.

Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days, and he prophesieth of times that are far off.

28 D iles, por tanto: Así dice el Señor Jehová: No se diferirá más ninguna de mis palabras, sino que la palabra que yo hable se cumplirá, dice el Señor Jehová.

Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: There shall none of my words be deferred any more, but the word that I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah.
