1 N o entrará en la congregación de Jehová el que tenga magullados los testículos, o amputado su miembro viril.

He that is a eunuch, whether he have been crushed or cut, shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah.

2 N o entrará mestizo en la congregación de Jehová; ni aun en la décima generación entrarán en la congregación de Jehová.

A bastard shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah; even his tenth generation shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah.

3 N o serán admitidos amonitas ni moabitas en la congregación de Jehová, ni aun en la décima generación; no entrará en la congregación de Jehová ninguno de ellos jamás,

An Ammonite or Moabite shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah; even their tenth generation shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah for ever;

4 p or cuanto no os salieron a recibir con pan y agua al camino, cuando salisteis de Egipto, y porque alquilaron contra ti a Balaam hijo de Beor, de Petor en Mesopotamia, para maldecirte.

because they met you not with bread and with water on the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor, of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

5 M as no quiso Jehová tu Dios oír a Balaam; y Jehová tu Dios te convirtió la maldición en bendición, porque Jehová tu Dios te amaba.

But Jehovah thy God would not listen to Balaam; and Jehovah thy God turned the curse into blessing unto thee, because Jehovah thy God loved thee.

6 N o procurarás la paz de ellos ni su bien en todos los días para siempre.

Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.

7 N o aborrecerás al edomita, porque es tu hermano; no aborrecerás al egipcio, porque forastero fuiste en su tierra.

Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother. Thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a sojourner in his land.

8 L os hijos que nazcan de ellos, en la tercera generación entrarán en la congregación de Jehová. Leyes sanitarias

Children that are born to them shall come into the congregation of Jehovah in the third generation.

9 C uando salgas a campaña contra tus enemigos, te guardarás de toda cosa mala.

When thou goest forth into camp against thine enemies, then keep thee from every evil thing.

10 S i hay entre los tuyos alguien que no esté limpio, por razón de alguna polución nocturna, saldrá fuera del campamento, y no entrará en él.

If there be with thee a man that is not clean from what hath happened in the night, then shall he go outside the camp; he shall not come inside the camp;

11 P ero al caer la tarde se lavará con agua, y cuando se haya puesto el sol, podrá entrar en el campamento.

and it shall be, towards evening, he shall bathe in water: and at the going down of the sun he may come inside the camp.

12 T endrás un lugar fuera del campamento adonde salgas;

Thou shalt have a place also outside the camp, and shalt go forth thither.

13 t endrás también entre tus armas una estaca; y cuando te sientes a evacuar allí fuera, cavarás con ella, y luego al volverte cubrirás tu excremento;

And thou shalt have a shovel amongst thy weapons, and it shall be, when thou sittest down abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which is come from thee.

14 p orque Jehová tu Dios anda en medio de tu campamento, para librarte y para entregar a tus enemigos delante de ti; por tanto, tu campamento ha de ser santo, para que él no vea en ti cosa inmunda, y se aparte de ti.

For Jehovah thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; and thy camp shall be holy, that he see nothing unseemly with thee, and turn away from thee.

15 N o entregarás a su señor el siervo que huya a ti de su amo.

Thou shalt not hand over to his master a bondman that hath escaped from his master unto thee:

16 M orará contigo, en medio de ti, en el lugar que escoja en alguna de tus ciudades, donde tenga a bien; no le oprimirás.

he shall dwell with thee, even in thy midst, in the place that he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it seemeth good to him; thou shalt not oppress him.

17 N o haya ramera de entre las hijas de Israel, ni haya sodomita de entre los hijos de Israel.

There shall be no prostitute amongst the daughters of Israel, nor any Sodomite amongst the sons of Israel.

18 N o traerás la paga de una ramera ni un precio de perro a la casa de Jehová tu Dios por ningún voto; porque abominación es a Jehová tu Dios tanto lo uno como lo otro.

Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the price of a dog, into the house of Jehovah thy God for any vow; for even both these are an abomination to Jehovah thy God.

19 N o exigirás de tu hermano interés de dinero, ni interés de comestibles, ni de cosa alguna de que se suele exigir interés.

Thou shalt take no interest of thy brother, interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that can be lent upon interest:

20 D el extraño podrás exigir interés, mas de tu hermano no lo exigirás, para que te bendiga Jehová tu Dios en toda obra de tus manos en la tierra adonde vas para tomar posesión de ella.

of a foreigner thou mayest take interest, but of thy brother thou shalt not take interest; that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in all the business of thy hand in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

21 C uando hagas voto a Jehová tu Dios, no tardes en pagarlo; porque ciertamente lo demandará Jehová tu Dios de ti, y sería pecado en ti.

When thou vowest a vow to Jehovah thy God, thou shalt not delay to perform it; for Jehovah thy God will certainly require it of thee, and it shall be sin in thee.

22 M as cuando te abstengas de prometer, no habrá en ti pecado.

But if thou forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.

23 P ero lo que haya salido de tus labios, lo guardarás y lo cumplirás, conforme lo prometiste a Jehová tu Dios, pagando la ofrenda voluntaria que prometiste con tu boca.

What is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and do, as thou hast vowed to Jehovah thy God, the voluntary-offering that thou hast promised with thy mouth.

24 C uando entres en la viña de tu prójimo, podrás comer uvas hasta saciarte; mas no pondrás en tu cesto.

When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, thou mayest eat grapes thy fill, according to thy desire, but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.

25 C uando entres en la mies de tu prójimo, podrás arrancar espigas con tu mano; mas no aplicarás hoz a la mies de tu prójimo.

When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, thou mayest pluck ears with thy hand; but thou shalt not wave the sickle against thy neighbour's standing corn.
