1 B rethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.

Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.

2 B ear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

3 F or if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

4 B ut let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

But let each man test his own work, and then he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor.

5 F or each one shall bear his own load. Be Generous and Do Good

For each man will bear his own burden.

6 L et him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.

But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.

7 D o not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

8 F or he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

9 A nd let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.

10 T herefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. Glory Only in the Cross

So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

11 S ee with what large letters I have written to you with my own hand!

See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand.

12 A s many as desire to make a good showing in the flesh, these would compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

As many as desire to look good in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.

13 F or not even those who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.

For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.

14 B ut God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

15 F or in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation. Blessing and a Plea

For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

16 A nd as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel.

17 F rom now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body.

18 B rethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
