1 T e alabaremos, oh Dios, alabaremos; que cercano está tu Nombre; cuenten tus maravillas.

Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

2 C uando tuviere la oportunidad, yo juzgaré rectamente.

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

3 S e arruinaba la tierra y sus moradores; yo compuse sus columnas. (Selah.)

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

4 D ije a los locos: No os infatuéis; y a los impíos: No levantéis el cuerno.

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 N o levantéis en alto vuestro cuerno; no habléis con soberbia.

lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

6 ¶ Porque ni de oriente, ni de occidente, ni del desierto solano viene el ensalzamiento.

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

7 P orque Dios es el juez; a éste abate, y a aquel ensalza.

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

8 Q ue la copa está en la mano del SEÑOR, y el vino es bermejo, lleno de mistura; y él derrama del mismo; ciertamente sus heces chuparán y tragarán todos los impíos de la tierra.

For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

9 M as yo anunciaré siempre, cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 Y quebraré todos los cuernos de los pecadores; los cuernos del justo serán ensalzados.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
