1 C antad al SEÑOR canción nueva; su alabanza sea en la congregación de los misericordiosos.

Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 A légrese Israel con su Hacedor; los hijos de Sion se gocen con su Rey.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 A laben su Nombre con baile; con adufe y arpa canten a él.

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

4 P orque el SEÑOR toma contentamiento con su pueblo; hermoseará a los humildes con salud.

For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

5 S e gozarán los misericordiosos con gloria; cantarán sobre sus camas.

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6 ¶ Ensalzamientos de Dios modularán en sus gargantas; y espadas de dos filos habrá en sus manos;

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

7 p ara hacer venganza de los gentiles, castigos en los pueblos;

to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8 p ara aprisionar sus reyes en grillos, y sus nobles en cadenas de hierro;

to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 p ara ejecutar en ellos el juicio escrito; gloria será esto para todos sus misericordiosos. Alelu-JAH.

to execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
