1 L ăudaţi pe Domnul! Cîntaţi Domnului o cîntare nouă, cîntaţi laudele Lui în adunarea credincioşilor Lui!

Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2 S ă se bucure Israel de Cel ce l -a făcut, să se veselească fiii Sionului de Împăratul lor!

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 S ă laude Numele Lui cu jocuri, să -L laude cu toba şi cu arfa!

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

4 C ăci Domnul are plăcere de poporul Său, şi slăveşte pe cei nenorociţi, mîntuindu -i.

For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

5 S ă salte de bucurie credincioşii Lui îmbrăcaţi în slavă, să scoată strigăte de bucurie în aşternutul lor!

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6 L audele lui Dumnezeul să fie în gura lor, şi sabia cu două tăişuri în mîna lor,

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

7 c a să facă răzbunare asupra neamurilor, şi să pedepsească popoarele;

to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8 s ă lege pe împăraţii lor cu lanţuri, şi pe mai marii lor cu obezi de fer,

to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 c a să aducă la îndeplinire împotriva lor judecata scrisă! Aceasta este o cinste pentru toţi credincioşii Lui. Lăudaţi pe Domnul!

to execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
