1 S EÑOR, mi corazón no se ha envanecido, ni mis ojos se enaltecieron; ni anduve en grandezas, ni en cosas maravillosas más de lo que me pertenecía.

Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2 S ino que me puse en silencio, e hice callar mi alma, sea yo como el destetado de su madre; como el destetado de mi propia vida.

Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

3 E spera, oh Israel, al SEÑOR desde ahora y para siempre.

Let Israel hope in the Lord from henceforth and for ever.
