1 Y et now hear, O Jacob my servant, and Israel, who I have chosen:

我 的 僕 人 雅 各 ， 我 所 揀 選 的 以 色 列 啊 ， 現 在 你 當 聽 。

2 T hus saith Jehovah that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob my servant; and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

造 做 你 ， 又 從 你 出 胎 造 就 你 ， 並 要 幫 助 你 的 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 我 的 僕 人 雅 各 ， 我 所 揀 選 的 耶 書 崙 哪 ， 不 要 害 怕 ！

3 F or I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

因 為 我 要 將 水 澆 灌 口 渴 的 人 ， 將 河 澆 灌 乾 旱 之 地 。 我 要 將 我 的 靈 澆 灌 你 的 後 裔 ， 將 我 的 福 澆 灌 你 的 子 孫 。

4 a nd they shall spring up among the grass, as willows by the watercourses.

他 們 要 發 生 在 草 中 ， 像 溪 水 旁 的 柳 樹 。

5 O ne shall say, I am Jehovah's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto Jehovah, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

這 個 要 說 ： 我 是 屬 耶 和 華 的 ； 那 個 要 以 雅 各 的 名 自 稱 ； 又 一 個 要 親 手 寫 ： 歸 耶 和 華 的 （ 或 譯 ： 在 手 上 寫 歸 耶 和 華 ） ， 並 自 稱 為 以 色 列 。

6 T hus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.

耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 君 ， 以 色 列 的 救 贖 主 ─ 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 我 是 首 先 的 ， 我 是 末 後 的 ； 除 我 以 外 再 沒 有 真 神 。

7 A nd who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I established the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and that shall come to pass, let them declare.

自 從 我 設 立 古 時 的 民 ， 誰 能 像 我 宣 告 ， 並 且 指 明 ， 又 為 自 己 陳 說 呢 ？ 讓 他 將 未 來 來 的 事 和 必 成 的 事 說 明 。

8 F ear ye not, neither be afraid: have I not declared unto thee of old, and showed it? and ye are my witnesses. Is there a God besides me? yea, there is no Rock; I know not any.

你 們 不 要 恐 懼 ， 也 不 要 害 怕 。 我 豈 不 是 從 上 古 就 說 明 指 示 你 們 麼 ？ 並 且 你 們 是 我 的 見 證 ！ 除 我 以 外 ， 豈 有 真 神 麼 ？ 誠 然 沒 有 磐 石 ， 我 不 知 道 一 個 ！

9 T hey that fashion a graven image are all of them vanity; and the things that they delight in shall not profit; and their own witnesses see not, nor know: that they may be put to shame.

製 造 雕 刻 偶 像 的 盡 都 虛 空 ； 他 們 所 喜 悅 的 都 無 益 處 ； 他 們 的 見 證 無 所 看 見 ， 無 所 知 曉 ， 他 們 便 覺 羞 愧 。

10 W ho hath fashioned a god, or molten an image that is profitable for nothing?

誰 製 造 神 像 ， 鑄 造 無 益 的 偶 像 ？

11 B ehold, all his fellows shall be put to shame; and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; they shall fear, they shall be put to shame together.

看 哪 ， 他 的 同 伴 都 必 羞 愧 。 工 匠 也 不 過 是 人 ， 任 他 們 聚 會 ， 任 他 們 站 立 ， 都 必 懼 怕 ， 一 同 羞 愧 。

12 T he smith maketh an axe, and worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with his strong arm: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth; he drinketh no water, and is faint.

鐵 匠 把 鐵 在 火 炭 中 燒 熱 ， 用 鎚 打 鐵 器 ， 用 他 有 力 的 膀 臂 錘 成 ； 他 飢 餓 而 無 力 ， 不 喝 水 而 發 倦 。

13 T he carpenter stretcheth out a line; he marketh it out with a pencil; he shapeth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compasses, and shapeth it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man, to dwell in a house.

木 匠 拉 線 ， 用 筆 劃 出 樣 子 ， 用 鉋 子 鉋 成 形 狀 ， 用 圓 尺 劃 了 模 樣 ， 仿 照 人 的 體 態 ， 做 成 人 形 ， 好 住 在 房 屋 中 。

14 H e heweth him down cedars, and taketh the holm-tree and the oak, and strengtheneth for himself one among the trees of the forest: he planteth a fir-tree, and the rain doth nourish it.

他 砍 伐 香 柏 樹 ， 又 取 柞 （ 或 譯 ： 青 桐 ） 樹 和 橡 樹 ， 在 樹 林 中 選 定 了 一 棵 。 他 栽 種 松 樹 ， 得 雨 長 養 。

15 T hen shall it be for a man to burn; and he taketh thereof, and warmeth himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread: yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

這 樹 ， 人 可 用 以 燒 火 ； 他 自 己 取 些 烤 火 ， 又 燒 著 烤 餅 ， 而 且 做 神 像 跪 拜 ， 做 雕 刻 的 偶 像 向 他 叩 拜 。

16 H e burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied; yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.

他 把 一 分 燒 在 火 中 ， 把 一 分 烤 肉 吃 飽 。 自 己 烤 火 說 ： 啊 哈 ， 我 暖 和 了 ， 我 見 火 了 。

17 A nd the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image; he falleth down unto it and worshippeth, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

他 用 剩 下 的 做 了 一 神 ， 就 是 雕 刻 的 偶 像 。 他 向 這 偶 像 俯 伏 叩 拜 ， 禱 告 他 說 ： 求 你 拯 救 我 ， 因 你 是 我 的 神 。

18 T hey know not, neither do they consider: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

他 們 不 知 道 ， 也 不 思 想 ； 因 為 耶 和 華 閉 住 他 們 的 眼 ， 不 能 看 見 ， 塞 住 他 們 的 心 ， 不 能 明 白 。

19 A nd none calleth to mind, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

誰 心 裡 也 不 醒 悟 ， 也 沒 有 知 識 ， 沒 有 聰 明 ， 能 說 ： 我 曾 拿 一 分 在 火 中 燒 了 ， 在 炭 火 上 烤 過 餅 ； 我 也 烤 過 肉 吃 。 這 剩 下 的 ， 我 豈 要 作 可 憎 的 物 嗎 ？ 我 豈 可 向 木 丕 子 叩 拜 呢 ？

20 H e feedeth on ashes; a deceived heart hath turned him aside; and he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

他 以 灰 為 食 ， 心 中 昏 迷 ， 使 他 偏 邪 ， 他 不 能 自 救 ， 也 不 能 說 ： 我 右 手 中 豈 不 是 有 虛 謊 麼 ？

21 R emember these things, O Jacob, and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

雅 各 ， 以 色 列 啊 ， 你 是 我 的 僕 人 ， 要 記 念 這 些 事 。 以 色 列 啊 ， 你 是 我 的 僕 人 ， 我 造 就 你 必 不 忘 記 你 。

22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

我 塗 抹 了 你 的 過 犯 ， 像 厚 雲 消 散 ； 我 塗 抹 了 你 的 罪 惡 ， 如 薄 雲 滅 沒 。 你 當 歸 向 我 ， 因 我 救 贖 了 你 。

23 S ing, O ye heavens, for Jehovah hath done it; shout, ye lower parts of the earth; break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for Jehovah hath redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel.

諸 天 哪 ， 應 當 歌 唱 ， 因 為 耶 和 華 做 成 這 事 。 地 的 深 處 啊 ， 應 當 歡 呼 ； 眾 山 應 當 發 聲 歌 唱 ； 樹 林 和 其 中 所 有 的 樹 都 當 如 此 ！ 因 為 耶 和 華 救 贖 了 雅 各 ， 並 要 因 以 色 列 榮 耀 自 己 。

24 T hus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb: I am Jehovah, that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth (who is with me?);

從 你 出 胎 ， 造 就 你 的 救 贖 主 ─ 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 我 ─ 耶 和 華 是 創 造 萬 物 的 ， 是 獨 自 鋪 張 諸 天 、 鋪 開 大 地 的 。 誰 與 我 同 在 呢 ？

25 t hat frustrateth the signs of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

使 說 假 話 的 兆 頭 失 效 ， 使 占 卜 的 癲 狂 ， 使 智 慧 人 退 後 ， 使 他 的 知 識 變 為 愚 拙 ；

26 t hat confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith of Jerusalem, She shall be inhabited; and of the cities of Judah, They shall be built, and I will raise up the waste places thereof;

使 我 僕 人 的 話 語 立 定 ， 我 使 者 的 謀 算 成 就 。 論 到 耶 路 撒 冷 說 ： 必 有 人 居 住 ； 論 到 猶 大 的 城 邑 說 ： 必 被 建 造 ， 其 中 的 荒 場 我 也 必 興 起 。

27 t hat saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers;

對 深 淵 說 ： 你 乾 了 罷 ！ 我 也 要 使 你 的 江 河 乾 涸 。

28 T hat saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure, even saying of Jerusalem, She shall be built; and of the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

論 古 列 說 ： 他 是 我 的 牧 人 ， 必 成 就 我 所 喜 悅 的 ， 必 下 令 建 造 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 發 命 立 穩 聖 殿 的 根 基 。
