1 C ontend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me.

（ 大 衛 的 詩 。 ） 耶 和 華 啊 ， 與 我 相 爭 的 ， 求 你 與 他 們 相 爭 ！ 與 我 相 戰 的 ， 求 你 與 他 們 相 戰 ！

2 T ake hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.

拿 著 大 小 的 盾 牌 ， 起 來 幫 助 我 。

3 B randish the spear and block those who pursue me. Tell my soul, “I am your salvation.”

抽 出 槍 來 ， 擋 住 那 追 趕 我 的 ； 求 你 對 我 的 靈 魂 說 ： 我 是 拯 救 你 的 。

4 L et those who seek after my soul be disappointed and brought to dishonor. Let those who plot my ruin be turned back and confounded.

願 那 尋 索 我 命 的 ， 蒙 羞 受 辱 ！ 願 那 謀 害 我 的 ， 退 後 羞 愧 ！

5 L et them be as chaff before the wind, Yahweh’s angel driving them on.

願 他 們 像 風 前 的 糠 ， 有 耶 和 華 的 使 者 趕 逐 他 們 。

6 L et their way be dark and slippery, Yahweh’s angel pursuing them.

願 他 們 的 道 路 又 暗 又 滑 ， 有 耶 和 華 的 使 者 追 趕 他 們 。

7 F or without cause they have hidden their net in a pit for me. Without cause they have dug a pit for my soul.

因 他 們 無 故 地 為 我 暗 設 網 羅 ， 無 故 地 挖 坑 ， 要 害 我 的 性 命 。

8 L et destruction come on him unawares. Let his net that he has hidden catch himself. Let him fall into that destruction.

願 災 禍 忽 然 臨 到 他 身 上 ！ 願 他 暗 設 的 網 纏 住 自 己 ！ 願 他 落 在 其 中 遭 災 禍 ！

9 M y soul shall be joyful in Yahweh. It shall rejoice in his salvation.

我 的 心 必 靠 耶 和 華 快 樂 ， 靠 他 的 救 恩 高 興 。

10 A ll my bones shall say, “Yahweh, who is like you, who delivers the poor from him who is too strong for him; yes, the poor and the needy from him who robs him?”

我 的 骨 頭 都 要 說 ： 耶 和 華 啊 ， 誰 能 像 你 救 護 困 苦 人 脫 離 那 比 他 強 壯 的 ， 救 護 困 苦 窮 乏 人 脫 離 那 搶 奪 他 的 ？

11 U nrighteous witnesses rise up. They ask me about things that I don’t know about.

凶 惡 的 見 證 人 起 來 ， 盤 問 我 所 不 知 道 的 事 。

12 T hey reward me evil for good, to the bereaving of my soul.

他 們 向 我 以 惡 報 善 ， 使 我 的 靈 魂 孤 苦 。

13 B ut as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth. I afflicted my soul with fasting. My prayer returned into my own bosom.

至 於 我 ， 當 他 們 有 病 的 時 候 ， 我 便 穿 麻 衣 ， 禁 食 ， 刻 苦 己 心 ； 我 所 求 的 都 歸 到 自 己 的 懷 中 。

14 I behaved myself as though it had been my friend or my brother. I bowed down mourning, as one who mourns his mother.

我 這 樣 行 ， 好 像 他 是 我 的 朋 友 ， 我 的 弟 兄 ； 我 屈 身 悲 哀 ， 如 同 人 為 母 親 哀 痛 。

15 B ut in my adversity, they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together. The attackers gathered themselves together against me, and I didn’t know it. They tore at me, and didn’t cease.

我 在 患 難 中 ， 他 們 卻 歡 喜 ， 大 家 聚 集 。 我 所 不 認 識 的 那 些 下 流 人 聚 集 攻 擊 我 ； 他 們 不 住 地 把 我 撕 裂 。

16 L ike the profane mockers in feasts, they gnashed their teeth at me.

他 們 如 同 席 上 好 嬉 笑 的 狂 妄 人 向 我 咬 牙 。

17 L ord, how long will you look on? Rescue my soul from their destruction, my precious life from the lions.

主 啊 ， 你 看 著 不 理 要 到 幾 時 呢 ？ 求 你 救 我 的 靈 魂 脫 離 他 們 的 殘 害 ！ 救 我 的 生 命 （ 生 命 ： 原 文 是 獨 一 者 ） 脫 離 少 壯 獅 子 ！

18 I will give you thanks in the great assembly. I will praise you among many people.

我 在 大 會 中 要 稱 謝 你 ， 在 眾 民 中 要 讚 美 你 。

19 D on’t let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.

求 你 不 容 那 無 理 與 我 為 仇 的 向 我 誇 耀 ！ 不 容 那 無 故 恨 我 的 向 我 擠 眼 ！

20 F or they don’t speak peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.

因 為 他 們 不 說 和 平 話 ， 倒 想 出 詭 詐 的 言 語 害 地 上 的 安 靜 人 。

21 Y es, they opened their mouth wide against me. They said, “Aha! Aha! Our eye has seen it!”

他 們 大 大 張 口 攻 擊 我 ， 說 ： 阿 哈 ， 阿 哈 ， 我 們 的 眼 已 經 看 見 了 ！

22 Y ou have seen it, Yahweh. Don’t keep silent. Lord, don’t be far from me.

耶 和 華 啊 ， 你 已 經 看 見 了 ， 求 你 不 要 閉 口 ！ 主 啊 ， 求 你 不 要 遠 離 我 ！

23 W ake up! Rise up to defend me, my God! My Lord, contend for me!

我 的 神 我 的 主 啊 ， 求 你 奮 興 醒 起 ， 判 清 我 的 事 ， 伸 明 我 的 冤 ！

24 V indicate me, Yahweh my God, according to your righteousness. Don’t let them gloat over me.

耶 和 華 ─ 我 的 神 啊 ， 求 你 按 你 的 公 義 判 斷 我 ， 不 容 他 們 向 我 誇 耀 ！

25 D on’t let them say in their heart, “Aha! That’s the way we want it!” Don’t let them say, “We have swallowed him up!”

不 容 他 們 心 裡 說 ： 阿 哈 ， 遂 我 們 的 心 願 了 ！ 不 容 他 們 說 ： 我 們 已 經 把 他 吞 了 ！

26 L et them be disappointed and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity. Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me.

願 那 喜 歡 我 遭 難 的 一 同 抱 愧 蒙 羞 ！ 願 那 向 我 妄 自 尊 大 的 披 慚 愧 ， 蒙 羞 辱 ！

27 L et them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause. Yes, let them say continually, “Yahweh be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!”

願 那 喜 悅 我 冤 屈 得 伸 的 （ 冤 屈 得 伸 ： 原 文 是 公 義 ） 歡 呼 快 樂 ； 願 他 們 常 說 ： 當 尊 耶 和 華 為 大 ！ 耶 和 華 喜 悅 他 的 僕 人 平 安 。

28 M y tongue shall talk about your righteousness and about your praise all day long.

我 的 舌 頭 要 終 日 論 說 你 的 公 義 ， 時 常 讚 美 你 。
