1 O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

غَضِبْتَ مِنّا يا اللهُ. رَفَضْتَنا وَضَرَبْتَنا بِقُوَّةٍ. فَأعِدْ عافِيَتَنا إلَينا.

2 T hou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

أنتَ زَلزَلتَ الأرْضَ وَشَقَّقْتَها تَحتَنا. فَأَصلِحْها لأنَّها تَتَهاوَى!

3 T hou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

أعطَيتَ شَعبَكَ مَتاعِبَ كَثِيرَةً، وَنَحنُ كَالسُّكارَى نَتَرَنَّحُ مِنْ تَأثِيرِها.

4 T hou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

أعطَيتَ لِخائِفِيكَ رايَةً لِيَلتَفُّوا حَولَها ضِدَّ العَدُوِّ. سِلاهْ

5 T hat thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.

خَلِّصْنِي بِيَمِينِكَ، استَجِبْ لِصَلاتِي وَخَلِّصِ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّهُمْ.

6 G od hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

قالَ اللهُ فِي هَيكَلِهِ: «سَأربَحُ المَعرَكَةَ وَأبتَهِجُ! سَأُعْطِي شَكِيمَ حِصَّةً لِمَنْ أُرِيدُ، وَسَأُقَسِّمُ وادِي سُكُّوتَ.

7 G ilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

لِي سَتَكُونُ جِلعادُ، وَكَذَلِكَ مَنَسَّى. أفْرايِمُ خُوذَتِي، وَيَهُوذا صَولَجانُ مُلْكِي.

8 M oab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

مُوآبُ مِغسَلَةُ قَدَمَيَّ، وَأُدُومُ حَيْثُ أخلَعُ حِذائِي. وَفِي فِلِسْطِيَةَ يُدَوِّي هُتافُ انتِصارِي.»

9 W ho will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

لَكِنِّي أقُولُ، مَنْ سَيَأْخُذُنِي إلَى المَدِينَةِ المُحَصَّنَةِ؟ مَنْ سَيَقُودُنِي إلَى أدُومَ؟

10 W ilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

ألَستَ أنتَ مَنْ هَجَرتَنا، يا اللهُ؟ ألَستَ تَرفُضُ الخُرُوجَ إلَى المَعرَكَةِ مَعَ جُيُوشِنا؟

11 G ive us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

أعِنّا فَنَتَخَلَّصَ مِنَ العَدُوِّ! فَعَونُ البَشَرِ بِلا فائِدَةٍ!

12 T hrough God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

أمّا بِعَونِ اللهِ فَنَنتَصِرُ. إذْ هُوَ يَدُوسُ أعداءَنا.
