1 A nd the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

وَكَلَّمَ اللهُ مُوسَى فَقالَ:

2 C ommand the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)

«أبلِغْ هَذا الأمْرَ لِبَني إسْرائِيلَ: سَتَدخُلُونَ أرْضَ كَنعانَ الَّتِي سَتَكُونُ مُلْكاً لَكُمْ. وَهَذِهِ أرْضُ كَنعانَ بِحَسَبِ حُدُودِها:

3 t hen your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:

الجِهَةُ الجَنُوبِيَّةُ سَتَكُونُ فِي بَرِّيَّةِ صِينَ قُرْبَ أدُومَ. حُدُودُكُمُ الجَنُوبِيَّةُ سَتَبدَأُ فِي الشَّرقِ مِنَ الطَّرَفِ الجَنُوبِيِّ إلَى بَحْرِ المِلحِ.

4 a nd your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, and shall go on to Hazar-addar, and pass on to Azmon:

ثُمَّ تَمُرُّ حُدُودُكُمْ إلَى الجَنُوبِ مِنْ مَمَرِّ عَقْرِبِّيمَ ثُمَّ عَبْرَ بَرِّيَّةِ صِينَ، ثُمَّ تَصِلُ إلَى قادَشَ بَرْنِيعَ، ثُمَّ تَستَمِرُّ إلَى حَصَرَ أدّارَ، ثُمَّ تَصِلُ إلَى عَصْمُونَ.

5 a nd the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.

وَمِنْ عَصْمُونَ سَتَتَّجِهُ نَحوَ نَهْرِ مِصرَ حَتَّى تَصِلَ إلَى البَحرِ.

6 A nd as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.

وَأمّا حُدُودُكُمُ الغَربِيَّةُ فَسَتَكُونُ شاطِئَ البَحرِ الكَبِيرِ وَساحِلَهُ. هُناكَ تَكُونُ الحُدُودُ الغَربِيَّةُ.

7 A nd this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:

وَهَذِهِ هِيَ حُدُودُكُمُ الشَّمالِيَّةُ: مِنَ البَحرِ تَتبَعُونَ خَطّاً إلَى جَبَلِ هُورَ.

8 f rom mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:

وَمِنْ جَبَلِ هُورَ تُحَدِّدُونَ الخَطَّ إلَى لِيبُو حَماةَ، ثُمَّ تَتَصِلُّ الحُدُودُ بِمَدينَةِ صَدَدَ.

9 a nd the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border.

وَتَستَمِرُّ الحُدُودُ الشَّمالِيَّةُ إلَى زِفْرُونَ، وَتَكُونُ نِهايَتُها إلَى حَصَرِ عِينانَ.

10 A nd ye shall point out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham:

أمّا حُدُودُكُمُ الشَّرقِيَّةُ فَتَبْدأُ مِنْ حَصَرِ عِينانَ وَتَمتّدُّ إلَى شَفامَ.

11 a nd the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:

وَمِنْ شَفامَ إلَى رِبلَةَ الواقِعَةِ إلَى الشَّرقِ مِنْ عَينٍ. وَتَستَمِرُّ الحُدُودُ مَعَ التِّلالِ الواقِعَةِ شَرقَ بَحرِ الجَلِيلِ.

12 a nd the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.

ثُمَّ مَعَ امْتِدادِ نَهرِ الأُردُنِّ وَحَتَّى بَحْرِ المِلْحِ. هَذِهِ هِيَ حُدُودُ أرْضِكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ الجِهاتِ.»

13 A nd Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the Lord commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:

فَأعطَى مُوسَى هَذا الأمرَ لِبَني إسْرائِيلَ: «هَذِهِ هِيَ الأرْضُ الَّتِي سَتُقَسِّمُونَها فِيما بَينَكُمْ بِإلقاءِ القُرَعِ. أمَرَ اللهُ بِأنْ تُعطَى هَذِهِ الأرْضُ لِلتِّسْعِ قَبائِلَ وَنِصْفِ القَبِيلَةِ،

14 f or the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:

لأنَّ قَبِيلَتَيِّ رَأُوبَيْنَ وَجادَ وَنِصفَ قَبِيلَةِ مَنَسَّى قَدْ أخَذُوا حِصَّتَهُمْ مِنَ الأرْضِ بِحَسَبِ عَشائِرِهِمْ.

15 t he two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.

فَقَدْ نالَتِ القَبِيلَتانِ وَنِصفُ القَبِيلَةِ حِصَصَهُمْ إلَى الشَّرقِ مِنْ نَهرِ الأُردُنِّ، إلَى الشَّرقِ مِنْ أرِيحا.»

16 A nd the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

ثُمَّ قالَ اللهُ لِمُوسَى:

17 T hese are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

«هَذانِ الرَّجُلانِ يَقسِمانِ الأرْضَ بَينَكُمْ: ألِيعازارُ الكاهِنُ وَيَشُوعُ بْنُ نُونَ.

18 A nd ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.

وَيُساعِدُهُمْ قائِدٌ مِنْ كُلِّ عَشِيرَةٍ لأجلِ تَقسِيمِ الأرْضِ.

19 A nd the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

وَهَذِهِ هِيَ أسْماءُ هَؤلاءِ القادَةِ: مِنْ قَبِيلَةِ يَهُوذا كالِبُ بْنُ يَفُنَّةَ.

20 A nd of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.

وَمِنْ قَبِيلَةِ شِمْعُونَ شَمُوئِيلُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ.

21 O f the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.

وَمِنْ قَبِيلَةِ بَنْيامِيْنَ ألِيدادُ بْنُ كِسلُونَ.

22 A nd the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.

وَمِنْ قَبِيلَةِ دانَ الرَّئِيسُ بُقِّي بْنُ يُجلِي.

23 T he prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.

وَمِنْ نَسلِ يُوسُفَ: مِنْ قَبِيلَةِ مَنَسَّى الرَّئِيسُ حَنِّيئِيلُ بْنُ إيفُودَ.

24 A nd the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.

وَمِنْ قَبِيلَةِ أفْرايِمَ الرَّئِيسُ قَمُوئِيلُ بْنُ شِفطانَ.

25 A nd the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

وَمِنْ قَبِيلَةِ زَبُولُونَ الرَّئِيسُ ألِيصافانُ بْنُ فَزْناخَ.

26 A nd the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.

وَمِنْ قَبِيلَةِ يسّاكِرَ الرَّئِيسُ فَلْطِيئِيلُ بْنُ عَزّانَ.

27 A nd the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.

وَمِنْ قَبِيلَةِ أشِيرَ الرَّئِيسُ أخِيهُودُ بْنُ شَلُومِي.

28 A nd the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.

وَمِنْ قَبِيلَةِ نَفْتالِي الرَّئِيسُ فَدَهْئِيلُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ.»

29 T hese are they whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

هَؤُلاءِ هُمُ الرِّجالُ الَّذِينَ أمَرَهُمُ اللهُ بِأنْ يَقْتَسِمُوا أرْضَ كَنعانَ فِيما بَينَ بَني إسْرائِيلَ.
