1 A nd the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:

وَقالَ اللهُ لِمُوسَى وَهارُونَ:

2 “ Everyone of the children of Israel shall camp by his own standard, beside the emblems of his father’s house; they shall camp some distance from the tabernacle of meeting.

«لِيُخَيِّمْ كُلُّ واحِدٍ مِنْ بَني إسْرائِيلَ تَحتَ رايَتِهِ. فَتَكُونُ لِكُلِّ عَشِيرَةٍ رايَةٌ. وَلَيَنصُبُوا خِيامَهُمْ حَولَ خَيمَةِ الاجْتِماعِ، عَلَى مَسافَةٍ مِنها.

3 O n the east side, toward the rising of the sun, those of the standard of the forces with Judah shall camp according to their armies; and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be the leader of the children of Judah.”

«فِي الجِهَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ نَحوَ شُرُوقِ الشَّمسِ سَتَكُونُ رايَةُ يَهُوذا عَلَى مُخَيَّمِهِمْ بِحَسَبِ فِرَقِها. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ يَهُوذا هُوَ نَحشُونُ بْنُ عَمِّينادابَ.

4 A nd his army was numbered at seventy-four thousand six hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ أربَعَةً وَسَبعِينَ ألفاً وَسِتَّ مِئَةٍ.

5 “ Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar, and Nethanel the son of Zuar shall be the leader of the children of Issachar.”

«وَتُخَيِّمُ إلَى جانِبِهِمْ قَبِيلَةُ يَسّاكَرَ. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ يسّاكِرَ هُوَ نَثَنائِيلُ بْنُ صُوغَرَ.

6 A nd his army was numbered at fifty-four thousand four hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ أربَعَةً وَخَمْسِينَ ألفاً وَأربَعَ مِئَةٍ.

7 “ Then comes the tribe of Zebulun, and Eliab the son of Helon shall be the leader of the children of Zebulun.”

«وَتُخَيِّمُ إلَى جانِبِهِمْ قَبِيلَةُ زَبُولُونَ. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ زَبُولُونَ هُوَ ألِيآبُ بْنُ حِيلُونَ.

8 A nd his army was numbered at fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ سَبعَةً وَخَمْسِينَ ألفاً وَأربَعَ مِئَةٍ.

9 “ All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces with Judah, one hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred—these shall break camp first.

«جَمِيعُ الَّذِينَ تَمَّ إحصاؤُهُمْ فِي مُخَيَّمِ يَهُوذا بِحَسَبِ فِرَقِهِمْ كانُوا مِئَةً وَسِتَّةً وَثَمانِينَ ألفاً وَأربَعَ مِئَةِ رَجُلٍ. وَهُمْ مَنْ يَبدَأُونَ بِالإرتِحالِ.

10 “ On the south side shall be the standard of the forces with Reuben according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.”

«وَفِي الجِهَةِ الجَنُوبِيَّةِ سَتَكُونُ رايَةُ مُخَيَّمِ رَأُوبَيْنَ بِحَسَبِ فِرَقِها. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ رَأُوبَيْنَ هُوَ ألِيصُورُ بْنُ شَدَيئُورَ.

11 A nd his army was numbered at forty-six thousand five hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ سِتَّةً وَأربَعِينَ ألفاً وَخَمسَ مِئَةٍ.

12 “ Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon, and the leader of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.”

«وَتُخَيِّمُ إلَى جانِبِهِمْ قَبِيلَةُ شِمعُونَ. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ شِمْعُونَ هُوَ شَلُومِيئِيلُ بْنُ صُورِيَشَدّايَ.

13 A nd his army was numbered at fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ تِسعَةً وَخَمْسِينَ ألفاً وَثَلاثَ مِئَةٍ.

14 “ Then comes the tribe of Gad, and the leader of the children of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.”

«وَتُخَيِّمُ إلَى جانِبِهِمْ قَبِيلَةُ جادَ. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ جادَ هُوَ ألِياسافُ بْنُ دَعُوئِيلَ.

15 A nd his army was numbered at forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ خَمسَةً وَأربَعِينَ ألفاً وَسِتَّ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ.

16 “ All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces with Reuben, one hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty—they shall be the second to break camp.

«جَمِيعُ الَّذِينَ تَمَّ إحصاؤُهُمْ فِي مُخَيَّمِ رَأُوبَيْنَ بِحَسَبِ فِرَقِهِمْ كانُوا مِئَةً وَواحِداً وَخَمْسِينَ ألفاً وَأربَعَ مِئَةٍ وَخَمْسِينَ رَجُلاً. وَهُمْ مَنْ سَيَرتَحِلُونَ بَعدَ مُخَيَّمِ يَهُوذا.

17 “ And the tabernacle of meeting shall move out with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps; as they camp, so they shall move out, everyone in his place, by their standards.

«وَبَعدَهُمْ تَرتَحِلُ خَيمَةُ الاجْتِماعِ مِنْ مُخَيَّمِ اللّاوِيِّينَ وَسَطَ المُخَيَّماتِ الأُخرَى. وَسَيَرتَحِلُونَ بِالتَّرْتِيبِ الَّذِي كانُوا مُخَيِّمِينَ بِهِ، كُلُّ واحِدٍ فِي مَوقِعِهِ وَتَحتَ رايَتِهِ.

18 “ On the west side shall be the standard of the forces with Ephraim according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.”

«وَفِي الجِهَةِ الغَربِيَّةِ سَتَكُونُ رايَةُ مُخَيَّمِ أفْرايِمَ مُرَتَّبَةً بِحَسَبِ فِرَقِها. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ أفْرايِمَ هُوَ ألِيشَمَعُ بْنُ عَمِّيهُودَ.

19 A nd his army was numbered at forty thousand five hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ أربَعِينَ ألفاً وَخَمسَ مِئَةٍ.

20 “ Next to him comes the tribe of Manasseh, and the leader of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.”

«وَتُخَيِّمُ إلَى جانِبِهِمْ قَبِيلَةُ مَنَسَّى. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ مَنَسَّى هُوَ جَملِيئِيلُ بْنُ فَدَهْصُورَ.

21 A nd his army was numbered at thirty-two thousand two hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ اثْنَينِ وَثَلاثِينَ ألفاً وَمِئَتَينِ.

22 “ Then comes the tribe of Benjamin, and the leader of the children of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.”

«وَتُخَيِّمُ إلَى جانِبِهِمْ قَبِيلَةُ بَنْيامِيْنَ. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ بَنْيامِيْنَ هُوَ أبِيدَنُ بْنُ جِدْعُونِي.

23 A nd his army was numbered at thirty-five thousand four hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ خَمسَةً وَثَلاثِينَ ألفاً وَأربَعَ مِئَةٍ.

24 “ All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces with Ephraim, one hundred and eight thousand one hundred—they shall be the third to break camp.

«جَمِيعُ الَّذِينَ تَمَّ إحصاؤُهُمْ فِي مُخَيَّمِ أفْرايِمَ بِحَسَبِ فِرَقِهِمْ كانُوا مِئَةً وَثَمانِيَةَ آلافٍ وَمِئَةَ رَجُلٍ. وَهُمُ المَجمُوعَةُ الثّالِثَةُ الَّتِي ارْتَحَلَتْ.

25 “ The standard of the forces with Dan shall be on the north side according to their armies, and the leader of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.”

«وَفِي الجِهَةِ الشِّمالِيَّةِ سَتَكُونُ رايَةُ مُخَيَّمِ دانَ بِحَسَبِ فِرَقِهِمْ. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ دانَ هُوَ أخِيعَزَرُ بْنُ عَمِّيشَدّايَ.

26 A nd his army was numbered at sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ اثْنَينِ وَسِتِّينَ ألفاً وَسَبعَ مِئَةٍ.

27 “ Those who camp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher, and the leader of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.”

«وَتُخَيِّمُ إلَى جانِبِهِمْ قَبِيلَةُ أشِيرَ. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ أشِيرَ هُوَ فَجْعِيئِيلُ بْنُ عُكْرَنَ.

28 A nd his army was numbered at forty-one thousand five hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ واحِداً وَأربَعِينَ ألفاً وَخَمسَ مِئَةٍ.

29 “ Then comes the tribe of Naphtali, and the leader of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.”

«وَتُخَيِّمُ إلَى جانِبِهِمْ قَبِيلَةُ نَفتالِي. وَرَئِيسُ قَبِيلَةِ نَفْتالِي هُوَ أخِيرَعُ بْنُ عِينَنَ.

30 A nd his army was numbered at fifty-three thousand four hundred.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جُندِهِ ثَلاثاً وَخَمْسِينَ ألفاً وَخَمسَ مِئَةٍ.

31 “ All who were numbered of the forces with Dan, one hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred—they shall break camp last, with their standards.”

«جَمِيعُ الَّذِينَ تَمَّ إحصاؤُهُمْ فِي مُخَيَّمِ دانَ بِحَسَبِ فِرَقِهِمْ كانُوا مِئَةً وَسَبعاً وَخَمْسِينَ ألفاً وَسِتَّ مِئَةِ رَجُلٍ. وَهُمْ آخِرُ مَجمُوعَةٍ تَرتَحِلُ تَحتَ راياتِهِمْ.»

32 T hese are the ones who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses. All who were numbered according to their armies of the forces were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

هَؤُلاءِ هُمُ الَّذِينَ تَمَّ إحصاؤُهُمْ مِنْ بَني إسْرائِيلَ بِحَسَبِ عَشائِرِهِمْ. وَكانَ مَجمُوعُ الَّذِينَ تَمَّ إحصاؤُهُمْ فِي المُخَيَّماتِ بِحَسَبِ فِرَقِهِمْ سِتَّ مِئَةٍ وَثَلاثَةَ آلافٍ وَخَمْسِينَ رَجُلاً.

33 B ut the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel, just as the Lord commanded Moses.

وَكَما أمَرَ اللهُ مُوسَى، لَمْ يَتِمَّ إحصاءُ اللّاوِيِّينَ مَعَ بَقِيَّةِ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ.

34 T hus the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses; so they camped by their standards and so they broke camp, each one by his family, according to their fathers’ houses.

وَبِهَذا عَمِلَ بَنو إسْرائِيلَ كُلَّ ما أمَرَ اللهُ بِهِ مُوسَى. فَعِندَما خَيَّمُوا، خَيَّمَ كُلُّ واحِدٍ مَعَ قَبيلَتِهِ وَعائِلَتِهِ. وَعِندَما ارْتَحَلُوا، ارْتَحَلَ كُلُّ واحِدٍ مَعَ قَبيلَتِهِ وَعائِلَتِهِ.
