1 T o You I will cry, O Lord my Rock: Do not be silent to me, Lest, if You are silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.

أدعُوكَ يا اللهُ يا صَخرَتِي، فَلا تَرفَضْ أنْ تَسمَعَنِي. لِأنَّكَ إنْ سَكَتَّ، سَأكُونُ مِثلَ الهابِطِينَ إلَى الهاوِيَةِ.

2 H ear the voice of my supplications When I cry to You, When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.

اسْمَعْ صَوتَ تَضَرُّعِي وَأنا أستَغِيثُ بِكَ. رافِعاً يَدَيَّ نَحوَ قُدْسِ الأقداسِ.

3 D o not take me away with the wicked And with the workers of iniquity, Who speak peace to their neighbors, But evil is in their hearts.

لا تَجُرَّنِي مَعَ فاعِلِي السُّوءِ، الَّذِينَ يُلقُونَ السَّلامَ مُخَطِّطِينَ لِلشَّرِّ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ.

4 G ive them according to their deeds, And according to the wickedness of their endeavors; Give them according to the work of their hands; Render to them what they deserve.

عاقِبْهُمْ كَما يَستَحِقُّونَ! عاقِبْهُمْ بِالمَصائِبِ الَّتِي يُخَطِّطُونَها لِلآخَرِينَ! كَما فَعَلُوا بِغَيرِهِمِ افعَلْ بِهِمْ!

5 B ecause they do not regard the works of the Lord, Nor the operation of His hands, He shall destroy them And not build them up.

وَلِأنَّهُمْ لا يَهتَمُّونَ بِما فَعَلَهُ اللهُ وَصَنَعَهُ. فَسَيُدَمِّرُهُمْ اللهُ ، وَلا يَبنِيهِمْ.

6 B lessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!

أُبارِكُ اللهَ لِأنَّهُ اسْتَجابَ لِطِلْباتِي.

7 T he Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.

اللهُ قُوَّتِي وَتُرسِي، لِهَذا أثِقُ بِهِ وَأطْمَئِنُّ. إلَى مَعُونَتِي جاءَ، لِهَذا يَبتَهِجُ قَلْبِي، وَأحمَدُهُ بِتَرنِيمِي!

8 T he Lord is their strength, And He is the saving refuge of His anointed.

اللهُ قُوَّةُ شَعبِهِ، مَصْدَرُ انتِصارٍ لِمَلِكِهِ المُختارِ.

9 S ave Your people, And bless Your inheritance; Shepherd them also, And bear them up forever.

انصُرْ شَعبَكَ. بارِكْ جَماعَتَكَ. ارعَهُمْ وَتَعَهَّدْهُمْ إلَى الأبَدِ بِرِعايَتِكَ!
