1 E r machte auch einen ehernen Altar, zwanzig Ellen lang und breit und zehn Ellen hoch.

Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.

2 U nd er machte ein gegossenes Meer, von einem Rand bis zum andern zehn Ellen weit, rundumher, und fünf Ellen hoch; und ein Maß von dreißig Ellen mochte es umher begreifen.

Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

3 U nd Knoten waren unter ihm umher, je zehn auf eine Elle; und es waren zwei Reihen Knoten um das Meer her, die mit gegossen waren.

And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.

4 E s stand aber auf zwölf Ochsen, also daß drei gewandt waren gegen Mitternacht, drei gegen Abend, drei gegen Mittag und drei gegen Morgen, und das Meer oben auf ihnen, und alle ihre Hinterteile waren inwendig.

It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.

5 S eine Dicke war eine Hand breit, und sein Rand war wie eines Bechers Rand und eine aufgegangene Lilie, und es faßte dreitausend Bath.

And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.

6 U nd er machte zehn Kessel; deren setzte er fünf zur Rechten und fünf zur Linken, darin zu waschen, daß sie darin abspülten, was zum Brandopfer gehört; das Meer aber, daß sich die Priester darin wüschen.

He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.

7 E r machte auch zehn goldene Leuchter, wie sie sein sollten, und setzte sie in den Tempel, fünf zur Rechten und fünf zur Linken,

And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.

8 u nd machte zehn Tische und tat sie in den Tempel, fünf zur Rechten und fünf zur Linken, und machte hundert goldene Becken.

He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.

9 E r machte auch einen Hof für die Priester und einen großen Vorhof und Türen in den Vorhof und überzog die Türen mit Erz

Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.

10 u nd setzte das Meer an die rechte Ecke gegen Morgen mittagswärts.

And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.

11 U nd Huram machte Töpfe, Schaufeln und Becken. Also vollendete Huram die Arbeit, die er dem König Salomo tat am Hause Gottes,

And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;

12 n ämlich die zwei Säulen mit den Kugeln und Knäufen oben auf beiden Säulen; und beide Gitterwerke, zu bedecken beide Kugeln der Knäufe oben auf den Säulen;

to wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;

13 u nd die vierhundert Granatäpfel an den Gitterwerken, zwei Reihen Granatäpfel an jeglichem Gitterwerk, zu bedecken beide Kugeln der Knäufe, die oben auf den Säulen waren.

and four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.

14 A uch machte er die Gestühle und die Kessel auf den Gestühlen

He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;

15 u nd das Meer und zwölf Ochsen darunter;

one sea, and twelve oxen under it.

16 d azu Töpfe, Schaufeln, gabeln und alle ihre Gefäße machte Huram, der Meister, dem König Salomo zum Hause des HERRN von geglättetem Erz.

The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the Lord of bright brass.

17 I n der Gegend des Jordans ließ sie der König gießen in dicker Erde, zwischen Sukkoth und Zaredatha.

In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.

18 U nd Salomo machte aller dieser Gefäße sehr viel, daß des Erzes Gewicht nicht zu erforschen war.

Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.

19 U nd Salomo machte alles Gerät zum Hause Gottes, nämlich den goldenen Altar und die Tische mit den Schaubroten darauf;

And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;

20 d ie Leuchter mit ihren Lampen von lauterem Gold, daß sie brennten vor dem Chor, wie sich's gebührt;

moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;

21 u nd die Blumen und die Lampen und die Schneuzen waren golden, das war alles völliges Gold;

and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;

22 d azu die Messer, Becken, Löffel und Näpfe waren lauter Gold. Und der Eingang, nämlich seine Tür inwendig zu dem Allerheiligsten und die Türen am Hause des Tempels, waren golden.

and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.
