1 E ntonces hizo un altar de bronce de veinte codos de largo, de veinte codos de ancho y de diez codos de alto.

Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.

2 H izo también el mar de metal fundido, de diez codos de borde a borde, en forma circular; su altura era de cinco codos y su circunferencia de treinta codos.

Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

3 Y había figuras como de bueyes debajo de él y todo alrededor, diez en cada codo, rodeando por completo el mar. Los bueyes estaban en dos hileras, fundidos en una sola pieza.

And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.

4 E l mar descansaba sobre doce bueyes; tres mirando al norte, tres mirando al occidente, tres mirando al sur y tres mirando al oriente; el mar descansaba sobre ellos y todas sus ancas estaban hacia adentro.

It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.

5 S u grueso era de un palmo, y su borde estaba hecho como el borde de un cáliz, como una flor de lirio; cabían en él tres mil batos.

And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.

6 H izo también diez pilas para lavar, y puso cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda para lavar las cosas para el holocausto; pero el mar era para que los sacerdotes se lavaran en él.

He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.

7 E ntonces hizo los diez candelabros de oro según su diseño y los puso en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda.

And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.

8 H izo además diez mesas y las colocó en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda. Hizo también cien tazones de oro.

He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.

9 D espués hizo el atrio de los sacerdotes, el gran atrio y las puertas para el atrio, y revistió las puertas de bronce.

Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.

10 Y puso el mar al lado derecho de la casa, hacia el sureste.

And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.

11 H iram hizo también los calderos, las palas y los tazones. Así terminó Hiram la obra que hizo para el rey Salomón en la casa de Dios:

And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;

12 l as dos columnas, los tazones y los capiteles en lo alto de las dos columnas, y las dos mallas para cubrir los dos tazones de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas,

to wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;

13 y las cuatrocientas granadas para las dos mallas, dos hileras de granadas para cada malla, para cubrir los dos tazones de los capiteles que estaban sobre las columnas.

and four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.

14 H izo también las basas, e hizo las pilas sobre las basas,

He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;

15 y el mar con los doce bueyes debajo de él.

one sea, and twelve oxen under it.

16 L os calderos, las palas, los garfios y todos sus utensilios los hizo Hiram-abí para el rey Salomón, para la casa del Señor, de bronce pulido.

The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the Lord of bright brass.

17 E l rey los fundió en la llanura del Jordán, en la tierra arcillosa entre Sucot y Seredata.

In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.

18 Y Salomón hizo todos estos utensilios en gran cantidad, de tal manera que el peso del bronce no se pudo determinar.

Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.

19 T ambién hizo Salomón todas las cosas que estaban en la casa de Dios: el altar de oro, las mesas con el pan de la Presencia sobre ellas,

And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;

20 l os candelabros con sus lámparas de oro puro, para que ardieran frente al santuario interior en la manera designada;

moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;

21 l as flores, las lámparas y las tenazas de oro, de oro purísimo;

and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;

22 y las despabiladeras, los tazones, las cucharas y los incensarios de oro puro. La entrada de la casa, sus puertas interiores para el lugar santísimo y las puertas de la casa para la nave eran también de oro.

and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.
