1 S eñor, no me reprendas en tu ira, ni me castigues en tu furor.

O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2 T en piedad de mí, Señor, pues languidezco; sáname, Señor, porque mis huesos se estremecen.

Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

3 M i alma también está muy angustiada; y tú, oh Señor, ¿hasta cuándo ?

My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

4 V uélvete, Señor, rescata mi alma; sálvame por tu misericordia.

Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

5 P orque no hay en la muerte memoria de ti; en el Seol, ¿quién te dará gracias ?

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

6 C ansado estoy de mis gemidos; todas las noches inundo de llanto mi lecho, con mis lágrimas riego mi cama.

I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

7 S e consumen de sufrir mis ojos; han envejecido a causa de todos mis adversarios.

Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

8 A partaos de mí, todos los que hacéis iniquidad, porque el Señor ha oído la voz de mi llanto.

Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9 E l Señor ha escuchado mi súplica; el Señor recibe mi oración.

The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.

10 T odos mis enemigos serán avergonzados y se turbarán en gran manera; se volverán, y de repente serán avergonzados.

Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
