1 C uando salió Jesús del templo, y se iba, se le acercaron sus discípulos para mostrarle los edificios del templo.

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2 M as respondiendo El, les dijo: ¿Veis todo esto? En verdad os digo: no quedará aquí piedra sobre piedra que no sea derribada. Señales antes del fin

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 Y estando El sentado en el monte de los Olivos, se le acercaron los discípulos en privado, diciendo: Dinos, ¿cuándo sucederá esto, y cuál será la señal de tu venida y de la consumación de este siglo?

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 R espondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Mirad que nadie os engañe.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 P orque muchos vendrán en mi nombre, diciendo: “Yo soy el Cristo ”, y engañarán a muchos.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 Y habréis de oír de guerras y rumores de guerras. ¡Cuidado! No os alarméis, porque es necesario que todo esto suceda; pero todavía no es el fin.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 P orque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino, y en diferentes lugares habrá hambre y terremotos.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 P ero todo esto es sólo el comienzo de dolores.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 E ntonces os entregarán a tribulación, y os matarán, y seréis odiados de todas las naciones por causa de mi nombre.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10 M uchos tropezarán entonces y caerán, y se traicionarán unos a otros, y unos a otros se odiarán.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 Y se levantarán muchos falsos profetas, y a muchos engañarán.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 Y debido al aumento de la iniquidad, el amor de muchos se enfriará.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 P ero el que persevere hasta el fin, ése será salvo.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 Y este evangelio del reino se predicará en todo el mundo como testimonio a todas las naciones, y entonces vendrá el fin. La abominación de la desolación

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15 P or tanto, cuando veáis la abominacion de la desolacion, de que se habló por medio del profeta Daniel, colocada en el lugar santo (el que lea, que entienda ),

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16 e ntonces los que estén en Judea, huyan a los montes;

then let them which be in Judæa flee into the mountains:

17 e l que esté en la azotea, no baje a sacar las cosas de su casa;

let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 y el que esté en el campo, no vuelva atrás a tomar su capa.

neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 P ero, ¡ay de las que estén encinta y de las que estén criando en aquellos días!

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 O rad para que vuestra huida no suceda en invierno, ni en día de reposo,

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 p orque habrá entonces una gran tribulación, tal como no ha acontecido desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni acontecerá jamás.

for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 Y si aquellos días no fueran acortados, nadie se salvaría; pero por causa de los escogidos, aquellos días serán acortados.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

23 E ntonces si alguno os dice: “Mirad, aquí está el Cristo ”, o “Allí está ”, no le creáis.

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 P orque se levantarán falsos Cristos y falsos profetas, y mostrarán grandes señales y prodigios, para así engañar, de ser posible, aun a los escogidos.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 V ed que os lo he dicho de antemano.

Behold, I have told you before.

26 P or tanto, si os dicen: “Mirad, El está en el desierto”, no vayáis; o “Mirad, El está en las habitaciones interiores”, no les creáis.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 P orque así como el relámpago sale del oriente y resplandece hasta el occidente, así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28 D onde esté el cadáver, allí se juntarán los buitres.

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29 P ero inmediatamente después de la tribulación de esos días, el sol se oscurecera, la luna no dara su luz, las estrellas caeran del cielo y las potencias de los cielos serán sacudidas.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 E ntonces aparecerá en el cielo la señal del Hijo del Hombre; y entonces todas las tribus de la tierra harán duelo, y verán al Hijo del Hombre que viene sobre las nubes del cielo con poder y gran gloria.

and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 Y El enviará a sus ángeles con una gran trompeta y reuniran a sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, desde un extremo de los cielos hasta el otro. Parábola de la higuera

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 Y de la higuera aprended la parábola: cuando su rama ya se pone tierna y echa las hojas, sabéis que el verano está cerca.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 A sí también vosotros, cuando veáis todas estas cosas, sabed que El está cerca, a las puertas.

so likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 E n verdad os digo que no pasará esta generación hasta que todo esto suceda.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

35 E l cielo y la tierra pasarán, mas mis palabras no pasarán.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 P ero de aquel día y hora nadie sabe, ni siquiera los ángeles del cielo, ni el Hijo, sino sólo el Padre.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 P orque como en los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 P ues así como en aquellos días antes del diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dándose en matrimonio, hasta el día en que entró Noé en el arca,

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 y no comprendieron hasta que vino el diluvio y se los llevó a todos; así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 E ntonces estarán dos en el campo; uno será llevado y el otro será dejado.

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 D os mujeres estarán moliendo en el molino; una será llevada y la otra será dejada.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 P or tanto, velad, porque no sabéis en qué día vuestro Señor viene.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 P ero comprended esto: si el dueño de la casa hubiera sabido a qué hora de la noche iba a venir el ladrón, hubiera estado alerta y no hubiera permitido que entrara en su casa.

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

44 P or eso, también vosotros estad preparados, porque a la hora que no pensáis vendrá el Hijo del Hombre. Parábola del siervo fiel y del infiel

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

45 ¿ Quién es, pues, el siervo fiel y prudente a quien su señor puso sobre los de su casa para que les diera la comida a su tiempo?

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 D ichoso aquel siervo a quien, cuando su señor venga, lo encuentre haciendo así.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 D e cierto os digo que lo pondrá sobre todos sus bienes.

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

48 P ero si aquel siervo es malo, y dice en su corazón: “Mi señor tardará ”;

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

49 y empieza a golpear a sus consiervos, y come y bebe con los que se emborrachan,

and shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 v endrá el señor de aquel siervo el día que no lo espera, y a una hora que no sabe,

the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 y lo azotará severamente y le asignará un lugar con los hipócritas; allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes.

and shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
