1 B ehold, my eye has seen all this, my ear has heard and understood it.

这 一 切 ， 我 眼 都 见 过 ； 我 耳 都 听 过 ， 而 且 明 白 。

2 W hat you know, I also know; I am not inferior to you.

你 们 所 知 道 的 ， 我 也 知 道 ， 并 非 不 及 你 们 。

3 S urely I wish to speak to the Almighty, and I desire to argue and reason my case with God.

我 真 要 对 全 能 者 说 话 ； 我 愿 与 神 理 论 。

4 B ut you are forgers of lies; you are all physicians of no value and have no remedy to offer.

你 们 是 编 造 谎 言 的 ， 都 是 无 用 的 医 生 。

5 O h, that you would altogether hold your peace! Then you would evidence your wisdom and you might pass for wise men.

惟 愿 你 们 全 然 不 作 声 ； 这 就 算 为 你 们 的 智 慧 ！

6 H ear now my reasoning, and listen to the pleadings of my lips.

请 你 们 听 我 的 辩 论 ， 留 心 听 我 口 中 的 分 诉 。

7 W ill you speak unrighteously for God and talk deceitfully for Him?

你 们 要 为 神 说 不 义 的 话 麽 ？ 为 他 说 诡 诈 的 言 语 麽 ？

8 W ill you show partiality to Him ? Will you act as special pleaders for God?

你 们 要 为 神 徇 情 麽 ？ 要 为 他 争 论 麽 ？

9 W ould it be profitable for you if He should investigate your tactics ? Or as one deceives and mocks a man, do you deceive and mock Him?

他 查 出 你 们 来 ， 这 岂 是 好 麽 ？ 人 欺 哄 人 ， 你 们 也 要 照 样 欺 哄 他 麽 ？

10 H e will surely reprove you if you do secretly show partiality.

你 们 若 暗 中 徇 情 ， 他 必 要 责 备 你 们 。

11 S hall not His majesty make you afraid, and should not your awe for Him restrain you?

他 的 尊 荣 岂 不 叫 你 们 惧 怕 麽 ？ 他 的 惊 吓 岂 不 临 到 你 们 麽 ？

12 Y our memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes; your defenses are defenses of clay.

你 们 以 为 可 记 念 的 箴 言 是 炉 灰 的 箴 言 ； 你 们 以 为 可 靠 的 坚 垒 是 淤 泥 的 坚 垒 。

13 H old your peace! Let me alone, so I may speak; and let come on me what may.

你 们 不 要 作 声 ， 任 凭 我 罢 ！ 让 我 说 话 ， 无 论 如 何 我 都 承 当 。

14 W hy should I take my flesh in my teeth and put my life in my hands ?

我 何 必 把 我 的 肉 挂 在 牙 上 ， 将 我 的 命 放 在 手 中 。

15 b ehold, He will slay me; I have no hope—nevertheless, I will maintain and argue my ways before Him and even to His face.

他 必 杀 我 ； 我 虽 无 指 望 ， 然 而 我 在 他 面 前 还 要 辩 明 我 所 行 的 。

16 T his will be my salvation, that a polluted and godless man shall not come before Him.

这 要 成 为 我 的 拯 救 ， 因 为 不 虔 诚 的 人 不 得 到 他 面 前 。

17 L isten diligently to my speech, and let my declaration be in your ears.

你 们 要 细 听 我 的 言 语 ， 使 我 所 辩 论 的 入 你 们 的 耳 中 。

18 B ehold now, I have prepared my case; I know that I shall be justified and vindicated.

我 已 陈 明 我 的 案 ， 知 道 自 己 有 义 。

19 W ho is he who will argue against and refute me? For then I would hold my peace and expire.

有 谁 与 我 争 论 ， 我 就 情 愿 缄 默 不 言 ， 气 绝 而 亡 。

20 O nly grant two conditions to me, and then will I not hide myself from You:

惟 有 两 件 不 要 向 我 施 行 ， 我 就 不 躲 开 你 的 面 ：

21 W ithdraw Your hand and take this bodily suffering far from me; and let not my dread of You terrify me.

就 是 把 你 的 手 缩 回 ， 远 离 我 身 ； 又 不 使 你 的 惊 惶 威 吓 我 。

22 T hen call and I will answer, or let me speak, and You answer me.

这 样 ， 你 呼 叫 ， 我 就 回 答 ； 或 是 让 我 说 话 ， 你 回 答 我 。

23 H ow many are my iniquities and sins ? Make me recognize and know my transgression and my sin.

我 的 罪 孽 和 罪 过 有 多 少 呢 ？ 求 你 叫 我 知 道 我 的 过 犯 与 罪 愆 。

24 W hy do You hide Your face and alienate me as if I were Your enemy?

你 为 何 掩 面 、 拿 我 当 仇 敌 呢 ？

25 W ill You harass and frighten a leaf driven to and fro, and will You pursue the chaff of the dry stubble?

你 要 惊 动 被 风 吹 的 叶 子 麽 ？ 要 追 赶 枯 乾 的 碎 秸 麽 ？

26 F or You write bitter things against me and make me inherit and be accountable now for the iniquities of my youth.

你 按 罪 状 刑 罚 我 ， 又 使 我 担 当 幼 年 的 罪 孽 ；

27 Y ou put my feet also in the stocks and observe critically all my paths; You set a circle and limit around the soles of my feet.

也 把 我 的 脚 上 了 木 狗 ， 并 窥 察 我 一 切 的 道 路 ， 为 我 的 脚 掌 划 定 界 限 。

28 A nd he wastes away as a rotten thing, like a garment that is moth-eaten.

我 已 经 像 灭 绝 的 烂 物 ， 像 虫 蛀 的 衣 裳 。
