1 T he mournful, inspired prediction (a burden to be lifted up) concerning Moab: Because in a night Ar of Moab is laid waste and brought to silence! Because in a night Kir of Moab is laid waste and brought to silence!

论 摩 押 的 默 示 ： 一 夜 之 间 ， 摩 押 的 亚 珥 变 为 荒 废 ， 归 於 无 有 ； 一 夜 之 间 ， 摩 押 的 基 珥 变 为 荒 废 ， 归 於 无 有 。

2 T hey are gone up to Bayith and to Dibon, to the high places to weep. Moab wails over Nebo and over Medeba; on all their heads is baldness, and every beard is cut off.

他 们 上 巴 益 ， 又 往 底 本 ， 到 高 处 去 哭 泣 。 摩 押 人 因 尼 波 和 米 底 巴 哀 号 ， 各 人 头 上 光 秃 ， 胡 须 剃 净 。

3 I n their streets they gird themselves with sackcloth; on the tops of their houses and in their broad places everyone wails, weeping abundantly.

他 们 在 街 市 上 都 腰 束 麻 布 ， 在 房 顶 上 和 宽 阔 处 俱 各 哀 号 ， 眼 泪 汪 汪 。

4 A nd Heshbon and Elealeh cry out; their voice is heard even to Jahaz. Therefore the armed soldiers of Moab cry out; life is grievous and trembles within him.

希 实 本 和 以 利 亚 利 悲 哀 的 声 音 达 到 雅 杂 ， 所 以 摩 押 带 兵 器 的 高 声 喊 嚷 ， 人 心 战 兢 。

5 M y heart cries out for Moab; his nobles and other fugitives flee to Zoar, to Eglath-shelishiyah. For with weeping they go up the ascent of Luhith; for on the road to Horonaim they raise a cry of destruction.

我 心 为 摩 押 悲 哀 ； 他 的 贵 胄 （ 或 译 ： 逃 民 ） 逃 到 琐 珥 ， 到 伊 基 拉 施 利 施 亚 。 他 们 上 鲁 希 坡 ， 随 走 随 哭 。 在 何 罗 念 的 路 上 ， 因 毁 灭 举 起 哀 声 。

6 F or the waters of Nimrim are desolations, for the grass is withered away and the new growth fails; there is no green thing.

因 为 宁 林 的 水 成 为 乾 涸 ， 青 草 枯 乾 ， 嫩 草 灭 没 ， 青 绿 之 物 ， 一 无 所 有 。

7 T herefore the abundance they have acquired and stored away they carry over the willow brook and to the valley of the Arabians.

因 此 ， 摩 押 人 所 得 的 财 物 和 所 积 蓄 的 都 要 运 过 柳 树 河 。

8 F or the cry has gone round the borders of Moab; the wailing has reached to Eglaim, and the prolonged and mournful cry to Beer-elim.

哀 声 遍 闻 摩 押 的 四 境 ； 哀 号 的 声 音 达 到 以 基 莲 ； 哀 号 的 声 音 达 到 比 珥 以 琳 。

9 F or the waters of Dimon are full of blood; yet I will bring even more on Dimon—a lion upon those of Moab who escape and upon the remnant of the land.

底 们 的 水 充 满 了 血 ； 我 还 要 加 增 底 们 的 灾 难 ， 叫 狮 子 来 追 上 摩 押 逃 脱 的 民 和 那 地 上 所 馀 剩 的 人 。
