2 E sau took his wives from the women of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah daughter of Anah, the son of Zibeon the Hivite,

3 A nd Basemath, Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebaioth.

又 娶 了 以 实 玛 利 的 女 儿 、 尼 拜 约 的 妹 子 巴 实 抹 。

4 A dah bore to Esau, Eliphaz; Basemath bore Reuel;

亚 大 给 以 扫 生 了 以 利 法 ； 巴 实 抹 生 了 流 珥 ；

5 A nd Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau born to him in Canaan.

阿 何 利 巴 玛 生 了 耶 乌 施 、 雅 兰 、 可 拉 。 这 都 是 以 扫 的 儿 子 ， 是 在 迦 南 地 生 的 。

6 N ow Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, his cattle, all his beasts, and all his possessions which he had obtained in the land of Canaan, and he went into a land away from his brother Jacob.

以 扫 带 着 他 的 妻 子 、 儿 女 ， 与 家 中 一 切 的 人 口 ， 并 他 的 牛 羊 、 牲 畜 ， 和 一 切 货 财 ， 就 是 他 在 迦 南 地 所 得 的 ， 往 别 处 去 ， 离 了 他 兄 弟 雅 各 。

7 F or their great flocks and herds and possessions made it impossible for them to dwell together; the land in which they were strangers could not support them because of their livestock.

因 为 二 人 的 财 物 群 畜 甚 多 ， 寄 居 的 地 方 容 不 下 他 们 ， 所 以 不 能 同 居 。

8 S o Esau dwelt in the hill country of Seir; Esau is Edom.

於 是 以 扫 住 在 西 珥 山 里 ； 以 扫 就 是 以 东 。

9 A nd this is the history of the descendants of Esau the father of the Edomites in the hill country of Seir.

以 扫 是 西 珥 山 里 以 东 人 的 始 祖 ， 他 的 後 代 记 在 下 面 。

10 T hese are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz, the son of Adah, Esau’s wife, and Reuel, the son of Basemath, Esau’s wife.

以 扫 众 子 的 名 字 如 下 。 以 扫 的 妻 子 亚 大 生 以 利 法 ； 以 扫 的 妻 子 巴 实 抹 生 流 珥 。

11 A nd the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.

以 利 法 的 儿 子 是 提 幔 、 阿 抹 、 洗 玻 、 迦 坦 、 基 纳 斯 。

12 A nd Timna was a concubine of Eliphaz, Esau’s son; and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Adah, Esau’s wife.

亭 纳 是 以 扫 儿 子 以 利 法 的 妾 ； 他 给 以 利 法 生 了 亚 玛 力 。 这 是 以 扫 的 妻 子 亚 大 的 子 孙 。

13 T hese are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These are the sons of Basemath, Esau’s wife.

流 珥 的 儿 子 是 拿 哈 、 谢 拉 、 沙 玛 、 米 撒 。 这 是 以 扫 妻 子 巴 实 抹 的 子 孙 。

14 A nd these are the sons of Oholibamah daughter of Anah, the son of Zibeon, Esau’s wife. She bore to Esau: Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

以 扫 的 妻 子 阿 何 利 巴 玛 是 祭 便 的 孙 女 ， 亚 拿 的 女 儿 ； 他 给 以 扫 生 了 耶 乌 施 、 雅 兰 、 可 拉 。

17 T hese are the sons of Reuel, Esau’s son: Chiefs Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah. These are the chiefs of Reuel in the land of Edom; they are the sons of Basemath, Esau’s wife.

以 扫 的 儿 子 流 珥 的 子 孙 中 ， 有 拿 哈 族 长 、 谢 拉 族 长 、 沙 玛 族 长 、 米 撒 族 长 。 这 是 在 以 东 地 从 流 珥 所 出 的 族 长 ， 都 是 以 扫 妻 子 巴 实 抹 的 子 孙 。

18 T hese are the sons of Oholibamah, Esau’s wife: Chiefs Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are the chiefs born of Oholibamah daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.

以 扫 的 妻 子 阿 何 利 巴 玛 的 子 孙 中 ， 有 耶 乌 施 族 长 、 雅 兰 族 长 、 可 拉 族 长 。 这 是 从 以 扫 妻 子 ， 亚 拿 的 女 儿 ， 阿 何 利 巴 玛 子 孙 中 所 出 的 族 长 。

19 T hese are the sons of Esau, that is, Edom, and these are their chiefs.

20 T hese are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

那 地 原 有 的 居 民 ─ 何 利 人 西 珥 的 子 孙 记 在 下 面 ： 就 是 罗 坍 、 朔 巴 、 祭 便 、 亚 拿 、

21 D ishon, Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs of the Horites, the sons of Seir in the land of Edom.

底 顺 、 以 察 、 底 珊 。 这 是 从 以 东 地 的 何 利 人 西 珥 子 孙 中 所 出 的 族 长 。

22 T he sons of Lotan are Hori and Hemam; and Lotan’s sister is Timna.

罗 坍 的 儿 子 是 何 利 、 希 幔 ； 罗 坍 的 妹 子 是 亭 纳 。

23 T he sons of Shobal are these: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.

24 T hese are the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is the Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness as he pastured the donkeys of Zibeon his father.

25 T he children of Anah are these: Dishon and Oholibamah daughter of Anah.

26 T hese are the sons of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.

27 E zer’s sons are these: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.

32 B ela son of Beor reigned in Edom. And the name of his city was Dinhabah.

33 N ow Bela died, and Jobab son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

34 T hen Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

35 A nd Husham died, and Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, reigned in his stead. The name of his city was Avith.

37 T hen Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth on the river reigned in his stead.
