1 T he word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the instruction of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,

猶 大 王 約 西 亞 的 兒 子 約 雅 敬 第 四 年 ， 尼 利 亞 的 兒 子 巴 錄 將 先 知 耶 利 米 口 中 所 說 的 話 寫 在 書 上 。 耶 利 米 說 ：

2 “ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, to you, O Baruch:

巴 錄 啊 ， 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 神 說 ：

3 ‘ You said, “Woe is me now! For the Lord has added grief to my sorrow. I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.”’
