3 B low up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

I bini borisë ditën e hënës së re, ditën e hënës së plotë, ditën e festës sonë.

Sepse ky është një statut për Izraelin, një ligj i Perëndisë të Jakobit.

Ai e caktoi si një dëshmi te Jozefi, kur doli kundër vendit të Egjiptit. Atëherë unë dëgjova një gjuhë që nuk e kuptoja;

"O Izrael, unë e hoqa barrën nga shpatullat e tua; duart e tua e kanë lënë shportën.

7 T hou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

Kur ishe keq ti më klithe mua dhe unë të çlirova; t’u përgjigja i fshehur në bubullimë, të vura në provë në ujërat e Meribas. (Sela)

8 H ear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

Dëgjo, o populli im, dhe unë do të qortoj. O Izrael, sikur ti të më dëgjoje!

9 t here shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

Mos pastë në mesin tënd asnjë perëndi të huaj dhe mos adhuro asnjë perëndi të huaj.

10 I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Unë jam Zoti, Perëndia yt, që të nxori nga vendi i Egjiptit; hap gojën tënde dhe unë do të ta mbush.

11 B ut my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.

Por populli im nuk e ka dëgjuar zërin tim dhe Izraeli nuk më është bindur.

12 S o I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

Prandaj i braktisa në ashpërsinë e zemrës së tyre, me qëllim që të ecnin sipas bindjeve të tyre.

13 O h that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

Ah, sikur populli im të më dëgjonte, sikur Izraeli të ecte në rrugët e mia!

14 I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

Do të poshtëroja menjëherë armiqtë e tij dhe do ta ktheja dorën time kundër kundërshtarëve të tij.

15 T he haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

Ata që urrejnë Zotin do t’i nënshtroheshin dhe fati i tyre do të caktohej përjetë.

16 H e should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

Dhe unë do ta ushqeja (Izraelin) me grurin më të mirë dhe do ta ngopja me mjaltin që pikon nga shkëmbi".
