1 H ow amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!

Oh, sa të dashura janë banesat e tua, o Zot i ushtrive!

2 M y soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Shpirti im dëshiron me zjarr dhe shkrihet për oborret e Zotit; zemra ime dhe mishi im i dërgojnë britma gëzimi Perëndisë të gjallë.

3 Y ea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

Edhe rabecka gjen një shtëpi dhe dallëndyshja një fole, ku të vërë të vegjëlit e saj pranë altarëve të tu, o Zot i ushtrive, Mbreti im dhe Perëndia im.

4 B lessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Lum ata që banojnë në shtëpinë tënde dhe të lëvdojnë vazhdimisht. (Sela)

5 B lessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

Lum ata që e vënë forcën e tyre te ti dhe kanë në zemër rrugët e tua!

6 W ho passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

Kur kalojnë luginën e Bakas, e shndërrojnë atë në një vend burimesh, dhe shiu i parë e mbulon me bekime.

7 T hey go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

Ata kalojnë nga një forcë te tjetra dhe në fund paraqiten para Perëndisë në Sion.

8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

O Zot, Perëndi i ushtrive, dëgjo lutjen time; vëri veshin, o Perëndi i Jakobit. (Sela)

9 B ehold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

Shiko, o Perëndi, mburojën tonë, dhe shiko fytyrën e të vajosurit tënd.

10 F or a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Po, një ditë në oborret e tua vlen më tepër se një mijë gjetiu; mua më pëlqen më tepër të qëndroj në pragun e shtëpisë së Perëndisë tim, se sa të banoj në çadrat e të pabesëve.

11 F or the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Sepse Zoti Perëndi është diell dhe mburojë; Zoti do të japë hir dhe lavdi; ai nuk u refuzon asnjë të mirë atyre që ecin drejt.

12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

O Zot i ushtrive, lum njeriu që ka besim te ti!
