1 N ot unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.

Jo neve, o Zot, jo neve, por emrit tënd jepi lavdi, për mirësinë tënde dhe për besnikërinë tënde.

2 W herefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?

Sepse do të thonë kombet: "Ku është tani Perëndia i tyre?".

3 B ut our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

Por Perëndia ynë është në qiejtë dhe bën tërë atë që i pëlqejnë.

4 T heir idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

Idhujt e tyre janë argjend dhe ar, vepër e duarve të njeriut.

5 T hey have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

kanë gojë por nuk flasin, kanë sy por nuk shohin,

6 t hey have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

kanë veshë por nuk dëgjojnë, kanë hundë por nuk nuhasin,

7 t hey have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

kanë duar por nuk prekin, kanë këmbë por nuk ecin; me grykën e tyre nuk nxjerrin asnjë zë.

8 T hey that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

Njëlloj si ata janë ata që i bëjnë, tërë ata që u besojnë atyre.

9 O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

O Izrael, ki besim tek Zoti! Ai është ndihma e tyre dhe mburoja e tyre.

10 O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

O shtëpi e Aaronit, ki besim tek Zoti! Ai është ndihma e tyre dhe mburoja e tyre.

11 Y e that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.

O ju që keni frikë nga Zoti; kini besim tek Zoti! Ai është ndihma e tyre dhe mburoja e tyre.

12 T he Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

Zoti na kujtoi dhe do të na bekojë; po, ai do të bekojë shtëpinë e Izraelit dhe do të bekojë shtëpinë e Aaronit.

13 H e will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.

Ai do të bekojë ata që kanë frikë nga Zoti, të vegjël dhe të mëdhenj.

14 T he Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

Zoti ju bëftë të rriteni, ju dhe bijtë tuaj.

15 Y e are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.

Qofshin të bekuar nga Zoti, që ka bërë qiejtë dhe tokën.

16 T he heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

Qiejtë janë qiejtë e Zotit, por tokën ai ua ka dhënë bijve të njerëzve.

17 T he dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.

Nuk janë të vdekurit ata që lëvdojnë të Zotin, as ata që zbresin në vendin e heshtjes.

18 B ut we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord.
