2 I n Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

3 T here brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

4 T hou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

Ti dukesh i lavdishëm dhe i fuqishëm mbi malet e presë.

5 T he stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.

Trimat i kanë zhveshur, i ka zënë gjumi, dhe asnjë prej atyre trimave nuk ka mundur të përdorë duart e tij.

6 A t thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

Mbas qortimit tënd, o Perëndia i Jakobit, qerret dhe kuajt mbetën të shushatur.

7 T hou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

Nga ti, pikërisht nga ti, duhet të kenë frikë; dhe kush mund të rezistojë para teje kur zemërohesh?

8 T hou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

Ti ke bërë që të dëgjohet nga qielli vendimi yt, tokën e zuri frika dhe heshti,

9 w hen God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.

kur Perëndia u ngrit për të gjykuar, për të çliruar tërë nevojtarët e tokës. (Sela)

10 S urely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

Edhe zemërimi i njerëzve do të shndrrohet në lavdi për ty, dhe ti do të rrethohesh me vetë mbeturinat e zemërimi të tyre.

11 V ow, and pay unto the Lord your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

Bëjini zotime Zotit, Perëndisë tuaj, dhe plotësojini; tërë ata që rinë rreth tij t’i çojnë dhurata të Tmerrshmit.

12 H e shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

Ai u heq frymën qeveritarëve, nga ai druhen mbretërit e tokës.
