1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

The Lord said to Moses,

2 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Appointed seasons of Jehovah, which ye proclaim, holy convocations, these: they My appointed seasons:

“Say to the people of Israel, ‘These are the special suppers of the Lord, which you will keep for holy meetings. These are My special suppers.

3 s ix days is work done, and in the seventh day a sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; ye do no work; it a sabbath to Jehovah in all your dwellings.

Work may be done for six days. But the seventh day is the Day of Rest, a holy meeting when you do no work at all. It is the Day of Rest to the Lord in all your homes. The Supper of Bread without Yeast

4 ` These appointed seasons of Jehovah, holy convocations, which ye proclaim in their appointed seasons:

‘These are the special suppers of the Lord, the holy meetings you will keep at the right times.

5 i n the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the evenings, the passover to Jehovah;

On the fourteenth day of the first month in the evening begins the Lord’s religious gathering to remember how His people left Egypt.

6 a nd on the fifteenth day of this month the feast of unleavened things to Jehovah; seven days unleavened things ye do eat;

On the fifteenth day of the same month is the Lord’s special supper of bread without yeast. For seven days you will eat bread made without yeast.

7 o n the first day ye have a holy convocation, ye do no servile work;

On the first day you will have a holy meeting. You will not do any hard work.

8 a nd ye have brought near a fire-offering to Jehovah seven days; in the seventh day a holy convocation; ye do no servile work.'

But you will give a gift by fire to the Lord for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy meeting. You will not do any hard work.’” The Supper of First Fruits

9 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Then the Lord said to Moses,

10 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye come in unto the land which I am giving to you, and have reaped its harvest, and have brought in the sheaf, the beginning of your harvest unto the priest,

“Say to the people of Israel, ‘When you come into the land I am going to give you and gather its grain, bring some of the first fruits of your grain to the religious leader.

11 t hen he hath waved the sheaf before Jehovah for your acceptance; on the morrow of the sabbath doth the priest wave it.

He will wave the grain before the Lord for you to be received. The religious leader will wave it on the day after the Day of Rest.

12 ` And ye have prepared in the day of your waving the sheaf a lamb, a perfect one, a son of a year, for a burnt-offering to Jehovah,

On the day when you wave the grain, you will give a perfect, one year old male lamb as a burnt gift to the Lord.

13 a nd its present two tenth deals of flour mixed with oil, a fire-offering to Jehovah, a sweet fragrance, and its drink-offering, wine, a fourth of the hin.

The grain gift with it will be one-fifth part of a basket of fine flour mixed with oil. It is a gift by fire to the Lord for a pleasing smell. And the drink gift with it will be a jar of wine.

14 ` And bread and roasted corn and full ears ye do not eat until this self-same day, until your bringing in the offering of your God -- a statute age-during to your generations, in all your dwellings.

Do not eat bread or dry grain or new grain until this same day, when you have brought the gift to your God. It is to be a Law forever for all your people in all your homes. The Supper of Weeks

15 ` And ye have numbered to you from the morrow of the sabbath, from the day of your bringing in the sheaf of the wave-offering: they are seven perfect sabbaths;

‘Number seven full weeks from the day after the Day of Rest, from the day when you give the grain for the wave gift. There will be seven whole Days of Rest.

16 u nto the morrow of the seventh sabbath ye do number fifty days, and ye have brought near a new present to Jehovah;

Number fifty days to the day after the seventh Day of Rest. Then give a new grain gift to the Lord.

17 o ut of your dwellings ye bring in bread of a wave-offering, two, of two tenth deals of flour they are, yeast they are baken, first- to Jehovah.

Bring from your homes two loaves of bread for a wave gift, made of one-fifth part of a basket of fine flour. They will be made with yeast, as first-fruits to the Lord.

18 ` And ye have brought near, besides the bread, seven lambs, perfect ones, sons of a year, and one bullock, a son of the herd, and two rams; they are a burnt-offering to Jehovah, with their present and their libations, a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah.

With the bread give seven one year old male lambs that are perfect, and one young bull, and two rams. They will be a burnt gift to the Lord, with their grain gift and their drink gift. It is a gift by fire with a pleasing smell to the Lord.

19 ` And ye have prepared one kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and two lambs, sons of a year, for a sacrifice of peace-offerings,

Then give one male goat for a sin gift and two male lambs one year old for a peace gift.

20 a nd the priest hath waved them, besides the bread of the first- -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, besides the two lambs; they are holy to Jehovah for the priest;

The religious leader will wave them with the bread of the first-fruits as a wave gift before the Lord, with the two lambs. They will be holy to the Lord for the religious leader.

21 a nd ye have proclaimed on this self-same day: a holy convocation is to you, ye do no servile work -- a statute age-during in all your dwellings, to your generations.

On this same day call together a holy meeting. Do no hard work. It is a Law forever in all your homes for all your people.

22 ` And in your reaping the harvest of your land thou dost not complete the corner of thy field in thy reaping, and the gleaning of thy harvest thou dost not gather, to the poor and to the sojourner thou dost leave them; I Jehovah your God.'

‘When you gather the food of your land, do not pick all the way to the corners of your field. And do not gather the food that falls. Leave it for those in need and the stranger. I am the Lord your God.’” The Supper of Horns

23 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

The Lord said to Moses,

24 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, ye have a sabbath, a memorial of shouting, a holy convocation;

“Say to the people of Israel, ‘On the first day of the seventh month, you will have a Day of Rest. It will be a day of remembering, made known by the blowing of horns, a holy meeting.

25 y e do no servile work, and ye have brought near a fire-offering to Jehovah.'

Do not do any hard work. But give a gift by fire to the Lord.’” A Day to Be Made Free from Sin

26 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

Then the Lord said to Moses,

27 ` Only -- on the tenth of this seventh month is a day of atonements; ye have a holy convocation, and ye have humbled yourselves, and have brought near a fire-offering to Jehovah;

“The tenth day of this seventh month is the day to be made free from sin. It will be a holy meeting for you. You will be without pride and give a gift by fire to the Lord.

28 a nd ye do no work in this self-same day, for it is a day of atonements, to make atonement for you, before Jehovah your God.

“Do no work on this day. For it is a day to be made free from sin, to be made free from your sin before the Lord your God.

29 ` For any person who is not humbled in this self-same day hath even been cut off from his people;

If there is any person who will not be free from his pride on this day, he will be kept away from his people.

30 a nd any person who doth any work in this self-same day I have even destroyed that person from the midst of his people;

Whoever does any work on this day, I will destroy from among his people.

31 y e do no work -- a statute age-during to your generations in all your dwellings.

Do no work at all. It is a Law forever for all your people in all your homes.

32 I t a sabbath of rest to you, and ye have humbled yourselves in the ninth of the month at even; from evening till evening ye do keep your sabbath.'

It will be a Day of Rest for you. And you must be without pride. You will keep your Day of Rest from evening until evening on the ninth day of the month.” Supper of Tents

33 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

The Lord said to Moses,

34 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, In the fifteenth day of this seventh month a feast of booths seven days to Jehovah;

“Say to the people of Israel, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the special supper of tents to the Lord. It will last seven days.

35 o n the first day a holy convocation, ye do no servile work,

A holy meeting will be on the first day. Do no hard work of any kind.

36 s even days ye bring near a fire-offering to Jehovah, on the eighth day ye have a holy convocation, and ye have brought near a fire-offering to Jehovah; it a restraint, ye do no servile work.

Give a gift by fire to the Lord for seven days. On the eighth day have a holy meeting and give a gift by fire to the Lord. It is a special gathering. Do no hard work.

37 ` These appointed seasons of Jehovah, which ye proclaim holy convocations, to bring near a fire-offering to Jehovah, a burnt-offering, and a present, a sacrifice, and libations, a thing of a day in its day,

‘These are the special suppers, the holy meetings you will keep at the right times. They will be for giving to the Lord gifts by fire, burnt gifts and grain gifts, gifts of animals and drink gifts, each on its own day.

38 a part from the sabbaths of Jehovah, and apart from your gifts, and apart from all your vows, and apart from all your willing-offerings, which ye give to Jehovah.

These are to be added to the Days of Rest of the Lord, and your gifts, both those that are promised and your free-will gifts that you give to the Lord.

39 ` Only -- in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, in your gathering the increase of the land, ye do keep the feast of Jehovah seven days; on the first day a sabbath, and on the eighth day a sabbath;

‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered the food of your land, you will have the special supper of the Lord for seven days. The first day and the eighth day will be Days of Rest.

40 a nd ye have taken to yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palms, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of a brook, and have rejoiced before Jehovah your God seven days.

On the first day, you will take the leaves of beautiful trees, branches of trees with big leaves and of trees beside the river. And be full of joy before the Lord your God for seven days.

41 ` And ye have kept it a feast to Jehovah, seven days in a year -- a statute age-during to your generations; in the seventh month ye keep it a feast.

You will keep it as a special supper to the Lord seven days in the year. It will be a Law forever for all your people. You will have it in the seventh month.

42 ` In booths ye dwell seven days; all who are natives in Israel dwell in booths,

You will live in tents for seven days. All who were born in Israel will live in tents.

43 s o that your generations do know that in booths I caused the sons of Israel to dwell; in my bringing them out of the land of Egypt; I, Jehovah, your God.'

So all your people to come may know that I had the people of Israel live in tents when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’”

44 A nd Moses speaketh the appointed seasons of Jehovah unto the sons of Israel.

So Moses made known to the people of Israel the special suppers of the Lord.
