3 F or Yahweh is a great God, a great King above all gods.

4 I n his hand are the deep places of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also his.
In whose hand are the depths of the earth, The peaks of the mountains are His also.
5 T he sea is his, and he made it. His hands formed the dry land.
The sea is His, for it was He who made it, And His hands formed the dry land.
6 O h come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker,
Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
7 f or he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, oh that you would hear his voice!
For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you would hear His voice,
8 D on’t harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

9 w hen your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.
“When your fathers tested Me, They tried Me, though they had seen My work.
10 F orty long years I was grieved with that generation, and said, “It is a people that errs in their heart. They have not known my ways.”
“For forty years I loathed that generation, And said they are a people who err in their heart, And they do not know My ways.
11 T herefore I swore in my wrath, “They won’t enter into my rest.”
“Therefore I swore in My anger, Truly they shall not enter into My rest.”
