1 ¶ Then he brought me forth into the outer court, the way toward the north; and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the space which was in front of the building toward the north.

Đoạn người dắt ta vào hành lang ngoài, về phía bắc, và đem ta vào trong Cái phòng ở trước mặt khoảng đất biệt riêng, đối với nhà hướng bắc.

2 I n front of the north door the length was one hundred cubits, and the breadth was fifty cubits.

Trên trước mặt là nơi có cửa vào bề phía bắc, những phòng ấy choán bề dài một trăm cu-đê, bề ngang năm mươi cu-đê.

3 O ver against the twenty cubits which were in the inner court, and over against the pavement which was in the outer court, were the chambers in three stories.

Các phòng đối nhau, trên một bề dài hai mươi cu-đê, nơi hành lang trong, đối với nền lót đã của hành lang ngoài, tại đó có những nhà cầu ba tầng.

4 A nd in front of the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.

Phía trước các phòng có đường đi rộng mười cu-đê, và phía trong có một con đường rộng một cu-đê; những cửa phòng đều xây về phía bắc.

5 N ow the upper chambers were shorter; for the galleries took away from the others, from the lower ones and from the middle ones.

Những phòng trên hẹp hơn những phòng dưới và những phòng giữa, vì các nhà cầu choán chỗ của những phòng trên.

6 F or they were in three stories, but did not have pillars as the pillars of the courts; therefore they were narrower than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.

có ba tầng, song không có cột như cột của hành lang; cho nên những phòng trên và những phòng giữa hẹp hơn những phòng dưới.

7 A nd the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the outer court in front of the chambers, was fifty cubits long.

Bức tường ngoài đi dọc theo các phòng về hướng hành lang ngoài, trước mặt các phòng, có năm mươi cu-đê bề dài;

8 F or the length of the chambers that were in the outer court was fifty cubits; and before the front of the temple were one hundred cubits.

vì bề dài của các phòng trong hành lang ngoài là năm mươi cu-đê, còn về trước mặt đền thờ thì có một trăm cu-đê.

9 A nd under these chambers was the entry to the temple on the east side, to enter in to it from the outer court.

Dưới các phòng ấy, về phía đông, có một cửa vào cho những người từ hành lang ngoài mà đến.

10 A ll along the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and in front of the building were chambers.

Cũng có những phòng trên bề ngang tường hành lang, về phía đông, ngay trước mặt khoảng đất biệt riêng và nhà.

11 A nd the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they; and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.

Có một con đường trước các phòng ấy, cũng như trước các phòng phía bắc; hết thảy các phòng ấy bề dài bề ngang bằng nhau, đường ra lối vào và hình thế cũng giống nhau.

12 A nd according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly in front of the wall toward the east, as one enters into them.

Các cửa phòng phía nam cũng đồng như vậy. Nơi vào con đường, trước mặt tường phía đông đối ngay, có một cái cửa, người ta vào bởi đó.

13 T hen he said unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they are holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the holy offerings; there they shall lay the holy offerings, and the present, and that which was offered as sin, and as guilt; for the place is holy.

Bấy giờ người bảo ta rằng: Các phòng phía bắc và các phòng phía nam, ngay trước khoảng đất biệt riêng, là những phòng thánh, là nơi các thầy tế lễ gần Đức Giê-hô-va ăn những vật rất thánh. Các thầy ấy sẽ để đó những vật rất thánh, của lễ chay, của lễ chuộc sự mắc lỗi, và của lễ chuộc tội; vì nơi đó là thánh.

14 W hen the priests enter therein, then they shall not go out of the holy place into the outer court, but there they shall lay their garments in which they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and in this manner shall approach unto that which is of the people.

Khi các thầy tế lễ đã vào đó rồi, không cởi tại đó những áo mình mặc mà hầu việc, thì không được từ nơi thánh ra đặng đi đến nơi hành lang ngoài nữa, vì những áo ấy là thánh, các thầy ấy phải thay áo khác đặng đến gần nơi dân sự.

15 ¶ Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth by the way of the gate facing toward the east and measured it round about.

Sau khi đã đo phía trong nhà xong rồi, người đem ta ra bởi hiên cửa phía đông, rồi người đo quanh vòng tròn.

16 H e measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds with the measuring reed round about.

Người dùng cần đo phía đông, có năm trăm cần.

17 H e measured the north side, five hundred reeds with the measuring reed round about.

Người đo phía bắc bằng cái cần dùng để đo, có năm trăm cần.

18 H e measured the south side, five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

Người đo phía nam bằng cái cần dùng để đo, có năm trăm cần.

19 H e turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

Người trở qua phía tây để đo, có năm trăm cần.

20 H e measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.

Người đo bốn phía tường bao chung quanh nhà, bề dài là năm trăm cần, bề rộng là năm trăm. Tường nầy dùng để phân biệt nơi thánh với nơi tục.
