1 ¶ I will sing of mercy and judgment; unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

Tôi sẽ hát xướng về sự nhơn từ và sự công bình; Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, tôi sẽ hát ngợi khen Ngài.

2 W hen thou shalt come unto me, I will walk in the way of perfection and understand. I will walk in the midst of my house in the perfection of my heart.

Tôi sẽ ăn ở cách khôn ngoan trong đường trọn vẹn; Ồ! Chúa chừng nào sẽ đến cùng tôi? Tôi sẽ lấy lòng trọn vẹn mà ăn ở trong nhà tôi.

3 I will set nothing of Belial before my eyes: I hate the work of those that betray; it shall not cleave to me.

Tôi sẽ chẳng để điều gì đê mạt trước mặt tôi; Tôi ghét công việc kẻ bất-trung: Việc ấy sẽ không dính vào tôi.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know a wicked person.

Lòng gian tà sẽ lìa khỏi tôi; Tôi sẽ chẳng biết sự ác.

5 W hosoever secretly slanders his neighbour, I will cut off; he that has a high look and a proud heart I will not suffer.

Tôi sẽ diệt kẻ lén nói hành người lân cận mình; Còn kẻ nào có mắt tự cao và lòng kiêu ngạo, tôi chẳng chịu cho nổi.

6 M y eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walks in the way of perfection, he shall serve me.

Mắt tôi sẽ chăm xem người trung tín trong xứ. Hầu cho họ ở chung với tôi; Ai đi theo đường trọn vẹn, nấy sẽ hầu việc tôi.

7 H e that works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight.

Kẻ nào phỉnh gạt sẽ chẳng được ở trong nhà tôi; Người nói dối sẽ không đứng nổi trước mặt tôi.

8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.

Mỗi buổi mai tôi sẽ diệt hết thảy kẻ dữ trong xứ, Đặng truất mọi kẻ làm ác Khỏi thành Đức Giê-hô-va.
