1 و َضَعَ اللهُ أساسَها فِي سِلسِلَةِ الجِبالِ المُقَدَّسَةِ.

2 ي َحِبُّ اللهُ بَوّاباتِ صِهْيَوْنَ، أكثَرَ مِنْ كُلِّ مُدُنِ إسرائِيلَ الأُخرَى.

Jehovah is loving the gates of Zion Above all the tabernacles of Jacob.

3 ي ا مَدِينَةَ اللهِ، يَقُوُلُ فِيكِ النّاسُ أشياءَ بَدِيعَةً. سِلاهْ

Honourable things are spoken in Thee, O city of God. Selah.

4 أ ذْكُرُ مِصرَ وَبابِلَ مِنْ بَينِ الأُمَمِ الَّتِي تَعرِفُنِي. أذْكُرُ الَّذِينَ وُلِدُوا فِي فِلَسطِينَ وَصُورَ وَكُوشَ.

I mention Rahab and Babel to those knowing Me, Lo, Philistia, and Tyre, with Cush! This was born there.

5 ه َذا وَذاكَ يَقُولانِ إنَّهُما وُلِدا فِي صِهْيَوْنَ، المَدِينَةِ الَّتِي بَناها اللهُ العَلِيُّ.

And of Zion it is said: Each one was born in her, And He, the Most High, doth establish her.

6 ع ِندَ اللهِ سِجِلّاتٌ لِشَعبِهِ، فَيَعرِفُ أينَ وُلِدَ كُلُّ واحِدٍ مِنهُمْ. سِلاهْ

Jehovah doth recount in the describing of the peoples, `This was born there.' Selah.

7 س َيَرقُصُونَ وَيُغَنُّونَ وَيَقُولُونَ: «مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ تَأتِي كُلُّ الخَيراتِ.»

Singers also as players on instruments, All my fountains in Thee!
