1 A nd Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,
Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
2 D ominion and fear are with him; he maketh peace in his high places.
Dominion and fear are with; He makes peace in His high places.
3 I s there any number of his troops? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
Is there any number to His armies? And upon whom does not His light arise?
4 A nd how should man be just with God? Or how should he be clean that is born of a woman?
How then can man be justified and righteous before God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be pure and clean?
5 L o, even the moon is not bright; and the stars are not pure in his sight:
Behold, even the moon has no brightness and the stars are not pure in His sight—
6 H ow much less man, a worm, and the son of man, a worm!
How much less man, who is a maggot! And a son of man, who is a worm!
