1 D hawr maalmood dabadeed goortuu haddana Kafarna'um galay, waxaa la maqlay inuu guriga joogo.

And again he entered into Capernaum, after days, and it was heard that he is in the house,

2 M arkaasaa waxaa is-urursaday dad badan, sidaa daraaddeed meel ay joogsadaan ayay ka waayeen xataa albaabka hortiisii, oo iyaga ayuu ereygii kula hadlay.

and immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even at the door, and he was speaking to them the word.

3 K olkaasay u yimaadeen oo nin curyaan ah u keeneen, waxaana siday afar qof.

And they come unto him, bringing a paralytic, borne by four,

4 G oortay u soo dhowaan kari waayeen dadkii badnaa daraaddiis ayay saqafka dusha ka fureen meeshuu joogay. Goortii ay jebsheen, waxay ka soo dejiyeen sariirtii ninkii curyaanka ahaa ku jiifay.

and not being able to come near to him because of the multitude, they uncovered the roof where he was, and, having broken up, they let down the couch on which the paralytic was lying,

5 C iise kolkuu rumaysadkoodii arkay, ayuu ninkii curyaanka ahaa ku yidhi, Wiilkow, dembiyadaadu waa cafiyan yihiin.

and Jesus having seen their faith, saith to the paralytic, `Child, thy sins have been forgiven thee.'

6 L aakiin halkaa waxaa joogay qaar culimmada ah oo iska fadhiyey oo qalbiyadooda ka fikirayay, oo waxay isku yidhaahdeen,

And there were certain of the scribes there sitting, and reasoning in their hearts,

7 N inkanu muxuu sidan ugu hadlayaa? Wuu caytamayaa. Ayaa dembiyo cafiyi kara Ilaah keliya maahee?

`Why doth this one thus speak evil words? who is able to forgive sins except one -- God?'

8 K olkiiba Ciise ruuxiisuu ka ogaaday inay sidaas qalbiyadooda ka fikirayaan, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Maxaad waxan qalbiyadiinna ugaga fikiraysaan?

And immediately Jesus, having known in his spirit that they thus reason in themselves, said to them, `Why these things reason ye in your hearts?

9 I yamaa hawl yar, in curyaanka lagu yidhaahdo, Dembiyadaadu waa cafiyan yihiin, ama in lagu yidhaahdo, Kac oo sariirtaada qaado oo soco?

which is easier, to say to the paralytic, The sins have been forgiven to thee? or to say, Rise, and take up thy couch, and walk?

10 L aakiin si aad ku garataan in Wiilka Aadanahu dhulka ku leeyahay amar uu dembiyada ku cafiyo (ayuu ninkii curyaanka ahaa ku yidhi),

`And, that ye may know that the Son of Man hath authority on the earth to forgive sins -- (he saith to the paralytic) --

11 W axaan ku leeyahay, Kac oo sariirtaada qaado oo gurigaaga tag.

I say to thee, Rise, and take up thy couch, and go away to thy house;'

12 K olkiiba wuu kacay oo sariirtiisii qaatay; wuuna baxay dadkii oo dhan hortooda, sidaa darteed ayay la wada yaabeen, wayna ammaaneen Ilaah, oo waxay yidhaahdeen, Weligayo sidan oo kale ma aannu arag. U yeedhidda Laawi

and he rose immediately, and having taken up the couch, he went forth before all, so that all were astonished, and do glorify God, saying -- `Never thus did we see.'

13 H addana wuu u baxay badda xeebteeda, oo dadkii oo dhan baa u yimid, wuuna wax baray.

And he went forth again by the sea, and all the multitude was coming unto him, and he was teaching them,

14 G oortuu ag marayay, wuxuu arkay Laawi ina Alfayos, isagoo fadhiya meesha cashuurta lagu qaado, oo uu ku yidhi isaga, I soo raac. Wuuna kacay oo raacay.

and passing by, he saw Levi of Alpheus sitting at the tax-office, and saith to him, `Be following me,' and he, having risen, did follow him.

15 W axaa dhacay markii Ciise gurigiisa cunto u fadhiistay in kuwa badan oo cashuurqaadayaal iyo dembilayaal ah Ciise iyo xertiisii la fadhiistay; waayo, way badnaayeen, wayna raaceen.

And it came to pass, in his reclining (at meat) in his house, that many tax-gatherers and sinners were reclining (at meat) with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.

16 C ulimmadii iyo Farrisiintii markay arkeen isagoo dembilayaal iyo cashuurqaadayaal wax la cunaya, waxay xertiisii ku yidhaahdeen, Waa sidee? Wuxuu wax la cunaa oo la cabbaa cashuurqaadayaal iyo dembilayaal.

And the scribes and the Pharisees, having seen him eating with the tax-gatherers and sinners, said to his disciples, `Why -- that with the tax-gatherers and sinners he doth eat and drink?'

17 C iise goortuu maqlay ayuu ku yidhi, Kuwa ladan dhakhtar uma baahna, laakiin kuwa buka ayaa u baahan. Uma aan imanin inaan kuwa xaqa ah u yeedho, laakiin inaan dembilayaasha u yeedho ayaan u imid. Wax Soonka Ku Saabsan

And Jesus, having heard, saith to them, `They who are strong have no need of a physician, but they who are ill; I came not to call righteous men, but sinners to reformation.'

18 X ertii Yooxanaa iyo Farrisiintii ayaa soomi jiray. Isagay u yimaadeen oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Xertii Yooxanaa iyo xertii Farrisiintu maxay u soomaan oo ay xertaadu u soomi weydaa?

And the disciples of John and those of the Pharisees were fasting, and they come and say to him, `Wherefore do the disciples of John and those of the Pharisees fast, and thy disciples do not fast?'

19 M arkaasaa Ciise ku yidhi, Dadka aroosku miyay soomi karaan intuu aroosku la joogo? In alla intii aroosku la joogo ma ay soomi karaan.

And Jesus said to them, `Are the sons of the bride-chamber able, while the bridegroom is with them, to fast? so long time as they have the bridegroom with them they are not able to fast;

20 L aakiin waxaa iman doona maalmaha arooska laga qaadi doono, markaasay soomi doonaan maalintaas.

but days shall come when the bridegroom may be taken from them, and then they shall fast -- in those days.

21 N inna karriin cusub kuma tolo dhar duug ah, haddii kale tan cusub ee lagu buuxin lahaa ayaa ka go'da kan duug ah, oo jeexdintu waa ka sii xumaataa.

`And no one a patch of undressed cloth doth sew on an old garment, and if not -- the new filling it up doth take from the old and the rent doth become worse;

22 K hamri cusubna qarbeddo duug ah laguma shubo, haddii kale khamrigii cusbaa ayaa qarbeddada kala dildillaacinaya, khamriguna waa daadanayaa, qarbeddaduna waa hallaabayaan, laakiin khamriga cusubse waxaa lagu shubaa qarbeddo cuscusub. Wax Sabti Dhawridda Ku Saabsan

and no one doth put new wine into old skins, and if not -- the new wine doth burst the skins, and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but new wine into new skins is to be put.'

23 W axaa dhacay inuu sabtidii beeraha dhex marayay, oo xertiisii intay soconayeen ayay bilaabeen inay sabuullada jartaan.

And it came to pass -- he is going along on the sabbaths through the corn-fields -- and his disciples began to make a way, plucking the ears,

24 M arkaasaa Farrisiintii waxay isaga ku yidhaahdeen, Bal eeg, maxay sabtida u samaynayaan wixii aan xalaal ahayn?

and the Pharisees said to him, `Lo, why do they on the sabbaths that which is not lawful?'

25 W uxuu ku yidhi, Miyaydnaan weligiin akhriyin wixii Daa'uud sameeyey markuu wax u baahnaa oo uu gaajaysnaa, isaga iyo kuwii la jiray?

And he said to them, `Did ye never read what David did, when he had need and was hungry, he and those with him?

26 S iduu guriga Ilaah u galay waagii wadaadkii sare ee Aabyaataar, oo uu u cunay kibistii tusniinta oo aan xalaal uu ahayn dad kale wadaaddada maahee, oo uu siiyey kuwii la jirayna.

how he went into the house of God, (at `Abiathar the chief priest,') and the loaves of the presentation did eat, which it is not lawful to eat, except to the priests, and he gave also to those who were with him?'

27 M arkaasaa wuxuu ku yidhi iyaga, Sabtida waxaa loo sameeyey dadka aawadiis ee dadka looma samayn sabtida aawadeed.

And he said to them, `The sabbath for man was made, not man for the sabbath,

28 S idaa darteed Wiilka Aadanahu waa sayidka sabtida.

so that the son of man is lord also of the sabbath.'
