And Samson goeth down to Timnath, and seeth a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines,

2 O o intuu soo noqday ayuu aabbihiis iyo hooyadiis u sheegay; oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Waxaan Timnaad ku arkay naag gabdhaha reer Falastiin ka mid ah, haddaba sidaas daraaddeed taas ii doona aan guursadee.

and cometh up and declareth to his father, and to his mother, and saith, `A woman I have seen in Timnath, of the daughters of the Philistines; and now, take her for me for a wife.'

3 M arkaasay aabbihiis iyo hooyadiis ku yidhaahdeen, War miyaan naagu ku jirin gabdhaha tolkaa, amase dadkayga oo dhan, oo maxaa kugu wata inaad ka guursato reer Falastiinka buuryoqabka ah? Markaasuu Samsoon aabbihiis ku yidhi, Iyada ii doon, waayo, aad bay iila wanaagsan tahay.

And his father saith to him -- also his mother, `Is there not among the daughters of thy brethren, and among all my people, a woman, that thou art going to take a woman from the uncircumcised Philistines?' and Samson saith unto his father, `Take her for me, for she is right in mine eyes.'

And his father and his mother have not known that from Jehovah it, that a meeting he is seeking of the Philistines; and at that time the Philistines are ruling over Israel.

5 M arkaasaa Samsoon, iyo aabbihiis iyo hooyadiis, waxay tageen Timnaad, oo waxay yimaadeen beerihii canabka ahaa oo Timnaad. Oo bal eeg, waxaa isagii ku soo ciyey libaax yar.

And Samson goeth down -- also his father and his mother, to Timnath, and they come unto the vineyards of Timnath, and lo, a lion's whelp roareth at meeting him,

6 M arkaasaa Ruuxii Rabbigu aad ugu soo degay isagii, oo Samsoon wuxuu u jeexjeexay libaaxii sidii uu orgi yar u kala jeexjeexi lahaa oo kale, oo gacmihiisana waxba kuma uu haysan; laakiinse wixii uu sameeyey uma uu sheegin aabbihiis iyo hooyadiis toona.

and the Spirit of Jehovah prospereth over him, and he rendeth it as the rending of a kid, and there is nothing in his hand, and he hath not declared to his father and to his mother that which he hath done.

And he goeth down and speaketh to the woman, and she is right in the eyes of Samson;

8 O o wakhti yar dabadeed ayuu u soo noqday inuu kaxaysto iyadii, markaasuu ku leexday inuu arko bakhtigii libaaxa; oo bal eeg, bakhtigii libaaxa waxaa ku jiray shinni badan iyo malab.

and he turneth back after days to take her, and turneth aside to see the carcase of the lion, and lo, a company of bees in the body of the lion -- and honey.

9 O o markaasuu gacmihiisii ku qaaday, oo iska tegey, isagoo cunaya intuu sii socday, markaasuu u yimid aabbihiis iyo hooyadiis, oo iyagiina wuu siiyey, wayna cuneen; laakiinse iyagii uma uu sheegin inuu malabka ka soo qaaday bakhtigii libaaxa.

And he taketh it down on to his hands, and goeth on, going and eating; and he goeth unto his father, and unto his mother, and giveth to them, and they eat, and he hath not declared to them that from the body of the lion he took down the honey.

And his father goeth down unto the woman, and Samson maketh there a banquet, for so the young men do;

11 O o markay isagii arkeen ayay u keeneen soddon nin si ay ula joogaan.

and it cometh to pass when they see him, that they take thirty companions, and they are with him.

12 K olkaasuu Samsoon iyagii ku yidhi, Bal aan idin halxidho. Toddobada maalmood oo diyaafadda ah haddaad ii sheegi kartaan oo aad furi kartaan, waxaan idin siinayaa soddon maro, iyo soddon isku joog oo dhar ah;

And Samson saith to them, `Let me, I pray you, put forth to you a riddle; if ye certainly declare it to me the seven days of the banquet, and have found out, then I have given to you thirty linen shirts, and thirty changes of garments;

13 l aakiinse haddaad ii sheegi weydaan, idinku waa inaad i siisaan soddon maro iyo soddon isku joog oo dhar ah. Oo iyana waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Bal sheeg halxidhkaaga, aannu maqalnee.

and if ye are not able to declare to me, then ye have given to me thirty linen shirts, and thirty changes of garments.' And they say to him, `Put forth thy riddle, and we hear it!'

14 M arkaasuu ku yidhi iyagii, Kii wax cuni jiray ayaa cunto ka soo baxday, Kii xoogga badnaana waxaa ka soo baxay macaan. Oo iyana intii saddex maalmood ah ayay halxidhkii furi waayeen.

And he saith to them: `Out of the eater came forth meat, And out of the strong came forth sweetness;' and they were not able to declare the riddle three days.

15 O o maalintii toddobaad waxay Samsoon naagtiisii ku yidhaahdeen, Soo sasab ninkaaga si uu noogu sheego halxidhkii, yaannan adiga iyo reerka aabbahaaba dab ku gubine. Ma waxaad noogu yeedheen inaad na caydhaysaan? Sow sidaas ma aha?

And it cometh to pass, on the seventh day, that they say to Samson's wife, `Entice thy husband, that he declare to us the riddle, lest we burn thee and the house of thy father with fire; to possess us have ye called for us? is it not?'

16 M arkaasay Samsoon naagtiisu ku hor ooyday, oo waxay isagii ku tidhi, Waxba iima aad samayn nacayb maahee, oo ima aad jeclid innaba. Dadkaygii waad halxidhay, oo iima aad sheegin. Markaasuu ku yidhi, Aabbahay iyo hooyaday toona uma aan sheegine, ma adaan kuu sheegayaa?

And Samson's wife weepeth for it, and saith, `Thou hast only hated me, and hast not loved me; the riddle thou hast put forth to the sons of my people -- and to me thou hast not declared it;' and he saith to her, `Lo, to my father and to my mother I have not declared -- and to thee I declare!'

17 O o toddobadii maalmoodba way ku hor ooyaysay isaga, intii ay diyaafaddoodii ka dhammaanaysay; oo waxaa dhacay maalintii toddobaad inuu iyadii u sheegay, maxaa yeelay, aad bay ugu cadaadisay; markaasay halxidhkii micnihiisii dadkeedii u sheegtay.

And she weepeth for it the seven days which their banquet hath been, and it cometh to pass on the seventh day that he declareth to her, for she hath distressed him; and she declareth the riddle to the sons of her people.

18 M arkaasay dadkii magaaladu isagii ku yidhaahdeen maalintii toddobaad intaan qorraxdu dhicin, Maxaa malab ka macaan? Maxaase libaax ka xoog badan? Markaasuu iyagii ku yidhi, Haddaydnan qaalintayda beerta ku falin, Halxidhkayga ma aydnaan furteen.

And the men of the city say to him on the seventh day, before the sun goeth in: -- `What sweeter than honey? And what stronger than a lion?' And he saith to them: `Unless ye had ploughed with my heifer, Ye had not found out my riddle.'

And the Spirit of Jehovah prospereth over him, and he goeth down to Ashkelon, and smiteth of them thirty men, and taketh their armour, and giveth the changes to those declaring the riddle; and his anger burneth, and he goeth up to the house of his father;

20 L aakiinse naagtii Samsoon waxaa la siiyey wehelkiis oo uu saaxiib ka dhigan jiray.

and Samson's wife becometh his companion's, who his friend.
