And Naaman, head of the host of the king of Aram, was a great man before his lord, and accepted of face, for by him had Jehovah given salvation to Aram, and the man was mighty in valour -- leprous.

2 O o reer Suuriyana guutooyin bay ku baxeen, oo waxay dalkii Israa'iil ka soo dhaceen gabadh yar, oo iyana Nacamaan bilcantiisa ayay u adeegi jirtay.

And the Aramaeans have gone out troops, and they take captive out of the land of Israel a little damsel, and she is before the wife of Naaman,

3 O o waxay sayidaddeedii ku tidhi, Hoogay, haddii sayidkaygu hor tegi lahaa nebiga Samaariya jooga wuu ka bogsiin lahaa baraskan.

and she saith unto her mistress, `O that my lord before the prophet who in Samaria; then he doth recover him from his leprosy.'

4 O o mid baa sayidkiisii u galay oo ku yidhi, Gabadhii dalka Israa'iil ka timid saas iyo saas bay tidhi.

And goeth in and declareth to his lord, saying, `Thus and thus she hath spoken, the damsel who from the land of Israel.'

5 M arkaasaa boqorkii Suuriya wuxuu Nacamaan ku yidhi, War orod oo tag, oo anna warqad baan kuugu sii dhiibayaa boqorka dalka Israa'iil. Oo isna wuu tegey, oo wuxuu qaaday toban talanti oo lacag ah, iyo lix kun oo sheqel oo dahab ah, iyo toban iskujoog oo dhar ah.

And the king of Aram saith, `Go thou, enter, and I send a letter unto the king of Israel;' and he goeth and taketh in his hand ten talents of silver, and six thousand of gold, and ten changes of garments.

6 O o wuxuu u keenay boqorkii dalka Israa'iil warqaddii lahayd, Haddaba markii warqaddanu kuu timaado, bal eeg, addoonkayga Nacamaan ah ayaan kugu soo diray si aad baraska uga bogsiisid.

And he bringeth in the letter unto the king of Israel, saying, `And now, at the coming in of this letter unto thee, lo, I have sent unto thee Naaman my servant, and thou hast recovered him from his leprosy.'

7 O o markii boqorkii dalka Israa'iil warqaddii akhriyey ayuu dharkiisii iska jeexjeexay oo wuxuu yidhi, War ma anigaa ah Ilaah wax dili kara, waxna noolayn kara? Oo ninkanu ma saasuu nin iigu soo diray si aan baraska uga bogsiiyo? Waan idin baryayaaye bal u fiirsada siduu ii daandaansanayo.

And it cometh to pass, at the king of Israel's reading the letter, that he rendeth his garments, and saith, `Am I God, to put to death and to keep alive, that this is sending unto me to recover a man from his leprosy? for surely know, I pray you, and see, for he is presenting himself to me.'

8 O o markii Eliishaa oo ahaa nin Ilaah uu maqlay in boqorkii dalka Israa'iil dharkiisii iska jeexjeexay ayuu u cid diray boqorkii oo ku yidhi, War maxaad dharkaagii isaga jeexjeexday? Bal isagu ha ii yimaado, oo wuxuu ogaan doonaa in dalka Israa'iil nebi dhex joogo.

And it cometh to pass, at Elisha the man of God's hearing that the king of Israel hath rent his garments, that he sendeth unto the king, saying, `Why hast thou rent thy garments? let him come, I pray thee, unto me, and he doth know that there is a prophet in Israel.'

And Naaman cometh, with his horses and with his chariot, and standeth at the opening of the house for Elisha;

10 O o Eliishaa wargeeyuu u diray oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Tag oo Webi Urdun toddoba jeer ku maydho, oo jiidhkaagu mar kaluu kuu soo noqon doonaa, oo nadiif baad ahaan doontaa.

and Elisha sendeth unto him a messenger, saying, `Go, and thou hast washed seven times in Jordan, and thy flesh doth turn back to thee -- and be thou clean.

11 L aakiinse Nacamaan wuu cadhooday oo tegey, oo wuxuu yidhi, Bal eega, waxaan mooday inuu isaga qudhiisu ii soo baxayo oo istaagayo, oo uu magaca Rabbiga Ilaahiisa ah iigu ducaynayo, oo uu gacantiisa meesha bukta dul marmarinayo, oo uu saas baraska ku bogsiinayo.

And Naaman is wroth, and goeth on, and saith, `Lo, I said, Unto me he doth certainly come out, and hath stood and called in the name of Jehovah his God, and waved his hand over the place, and recovered the leper.

12 W ar Abaanaah iyo Farfar oo ah webiyadii Dimishaq sow kama wanaagsana biyaha dalka Israa'iil oo dhan? Bal miyaanan iyaga ku maydhan karin oo nadiif ahaan karin? Sidaas daraaddeed wuu noqday, oo wuxuu tegey isagoo cadhaysan.

Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? do I not wash in them and I have been clean?' and he turneth and goeth on in fury.

13 L aakiinse addoommadiisii ayaa u yimid oo la hadlay, oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Aabbow, haddii nebigu wax weyn kugu amro sow ma aadan samayseen? Haddaba bal maxaa ka sahlan hadduu kugu yidhaahdo, Maydho, oo nadiif noqo?

And his servants come nigh, and speak unto him, and say, `My father, a great thing had the prophet spoken unto thee -- dost thou not do ? and surely, when he hath said unto thee, Wash, and be clean.'

14 M arkaasuu tegey, oo sidii ninkii Ilaah isaga ku yidhi ayuu yeelay, oo Webi Urdun ayuu toddoba jeer liimbaday; oo jiidhkiisiina mar kaluu u soo noqday isagoo u eg ilmo yar jiidhkiis, nadiif buuna noqday.

And he goeth down and dippeth in Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh doth turn back as the flesh of a little youth, and is clean.

15 M arkaasuu ninkii Ilaah ku noqday, oo isagii iyo kooxdiisii oo dhammuba, intay yimaadeen ayay hortiisii soo istaageen; oo isna wuxuu yidhi, Bal eeg, haatan waan ogahay inaan dunida oo dhan Ilaah lagu arag dalka Israa'iil mooyaane, haddaba sidaas daraaddeed waxaan kaa baryayaa inaad qaadato hadiyaddayda anoo addoonkaaga ah.

And he turneth back unto the man of God, he and all his camp, and cometh in, and standeth before him, and saith, `Lo, I pray thee, I have known that there is not a God in all the earth except in Israel; and now, take, I pray thee, a blessing from thy servant.'

16 L aakiinse Eliishaa wuxuu yidhi, Waxaan ku dhaartay nolosha Rabbiga aan hor taagnahaye inaanan waxba kaa qaadanayn. Oo isna wuu ku sii cadaadiyey inuu qaato, laakiinse Eliishaa wuu diiday.

And he saith, `Jehovah liveth, before whom I have stood -- if I take;' and he presseth on him to take, and he refuseth.

17 M arkaasaa Nacamaan wuxuu yidhi, Haddii ayan saas ahayn weliba waxaan kaa baryayaa in anigoo addoonkaaga ah lay siiyo ciid intii ay laba baqal qaadi karaan, waayo, anigoo addoonkaaga ah, hadda ka dib Rabbiga mooyaane ilaahyo kale u bixin maayo qurbaan la gubo iyo allabari toona.

And Naaman saith, `If not -- let be given, I pray thee, to thy servant, a couple of mules' burden of earth, for thy servant doth make no more burnt-offering and sacrifice to other gods, but to Jehovah.

18 O o waxakanna Rabbigu ha iga cafiyo anigoo addoonkaaga ah, markii sayidkaygu guriga Rimmon u tago inuu ku tukado, oo uu ku tiirsada gacantayda ee aan anna ku sujuudo guriga Rimmon gudihiisa, oo markaan ku sujuudo guriga Rimmon gudihiisa Rabbigu anigoo addoonkaaga ah ha iga cafiyo waxakan.

For this thing Jehovah be propitious to thy servant, in the coming in of my lord into the house of Rimmon to bow himself there, and he was supported by my hand, and I bowed myself the house of Rimmon; for my bowing myself in the house of Rimmon Jehovah be propitious, I pray thee, to thy servant in this thing.'

19 O o isna wuxuu isagii ku yidhi, Orod oo nabad ku tag. Sidaas daraaddeed in yar buu ka socday.

And he saith to him, `Go in peace.' And he goeth from him a kibrath of land,

20 L aakiinse Geexasii oo ahaa midiidinkii Eliishaa oo ahaa ninkii Ilaah wuxuu yidhi, Bal eega, sayidkaygu wuu u tudhay Nacamaan kii reer Suuriya, oo wixii uu u keenayna waxba kama uu qaadan. Waxaan Rabbiga noloshiisa ugu dhaartay inaan intaan isagii ka daba ordo wax ka soo qaato.

And Gehazi, servant of Elisha the man of God, saith, `Lo, my lord hath spared Naaman this Aramaean, not to receive from his hand that which he brought; Jehovah liveth; surely if I have run after him, then I have taken from him something.'

21 S idaas daraaddeed Geexasii wuxuu daba galay Nacamaan. Oo Nacamaanna markuu arkay mid soo daba ordaya ayuu gaadhifaraskiisii ka soo degtay inuu ka hor tago, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, War ma nabad baa?

And Gehazi pursueth after Naaman, and Naaman seeth one running after him, and alighteth from off the chariot to meet him, and saith, `Is there peace?'

22 O o isna wuxuu ku yidhi, Waa nabad. Oo sayidkaygii baa i soo diray oo wuxuu kugu soo yidhi, Haddeerba waxaa ii yimid laba nin oo dhallinyar oo qoonkii nebiyada ah oo ka yimid dalka buuraha leh oo reer Efrayim; haddaba waxaan kaa baryayaa inaad iyaga siiso talanti lacag ah iyo laba iskujoog oo dhar ah.

And he saith, `Peace; my lord hath sent me, saying, Lo, now, this, come unto me have two young men from the hill-country of Ephraim, of the sons of the prophets; give, I pray thee, to them, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.'

23 M arkaasaa Nacamaan yidhi, Oggolow oo qaad laba talanti oo lacag ah. Wuuna ku sii adkeeyey, oo labadii talanti wuxuu ugu xidhay laba kiish, oo wuxuu ugu sii daray laba iskujoog oo dhar ah, oo weliba wuxuu u saaray laba midiidinnadiisii ah, oo iyana intay u qaadeen ayay hortiisa socdeen.

And Naaman saith, `Be pleased, take two talents;' and he urgeth on him, and bindeth two talents of silver in two purses, and two changes of garments, and giveth unto two of his young men, and they bear before him;

24 O o markuu buurtii yimid ayuu gacmahoodii ka qaaday, oo guriguu dhigtay; nimankiina wuu iska diray oo way tageen.

and he cometh in unto the high place, and taketh out of their hand, and layeth up in the house, and sendeth away the men, and they go.

25 O o isagiina intuu gudaha galay ayuu sayidkiisii hor istaagay. Markaasaa Eliishaa ku yidhi, Geexasiiyow, xaggee baad ka timid? Isna wuxuu yidhi, Anigoo addoonkaaga ahu meella ma tegin.

And he hath come in, and doth stand by his lord, and Elisha saith unto him, `Whence -- Gehazi?' and he saith, `Thy servant went not hither or thither.'

26 O o isna wuxuu isagii ku yidhi, War sow qalbigaygu kulama socon markii ninku gaadhifaraskiisii ka soo noqday inuu kaa hor yimaado? War haatan ma wakhti lacag la qaataa oo ma wakhti la qaataa dhar, iyo beero saytuun ah, iyo beero canab ah, iyo ido, iyo dibi, iyo niman addoommo ah, iyo naago addoommo ah?

And he saith unto him, `My heart went not when the man turned from off his chariot to meet thee; is it a time to take silver, and to take garments, and olives, and vines, and flock, and herd, and men-servants, and maid-servants?

27 H addaba waxaa adiga iyo farcankaagaba idinku dhegi doona weligiin Nacamaan baraskiisii. Oo wuxuu hortiisii ka tegey isagoo baras qaba oo u cad sida baraf cad oo kale.

yea, the leprosy of Naaman doth cleave to thee, and to thy seed, -- to the age;' and he goeth out from before him -- leprous as snow.
