1 O Lord, in Your strength the king will be glad, And in Your salvation how greatly he will rejoice!

يَفرَحُ المَلِكُ بِقُوَّتِكَ يا اللهُ. يَبتَهِجُ كَثِيراً بِخَلاصِكَ.

2 Y ou have given him his heart’s desire, And You have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.

أعطَيتَهُ مُشْتَهَى قَلْبِهِ. وَلَمْ تَحْرِمْهُ مِنْ مَطلَبِ شَفَتَيْهِ. سِلاهْ

3 F or You meet him with the blessings of good things; You set a crown of fine gold on his head.

تُقَدِّمُ لَهُ بَرَكاتٍ واعِدَةً بِالخَيْرِ. وَتاجاً مِنَ الذَّهَبِ تَضَعُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ.

4 H e asked life of You, You gave it to him, Length of days forever and ever.

حَياةً طَلَبَ مِنْكَ، فَأعطَيتَهُ حَياةً تَطُولُ إلَى أبَدِ الآبِدِينَ.

5 H is glory is great through Your salvation, Splendor and majesty You place upon him.

عَظَّمْتَ كَرامَتَهُ بِنَصْرِكَ إيّاهُ. عَلَيهِ سَكَبْتَ مَجداً وَشَرَفاً.

6 F or You make him most blessed forever; You make him joyful with gladness in Your presence.

بَرَكاتٍ أبَدِيَّةً أعطَيتَهُ. فَأبْهَجْتَهُ بابتِهاجِ حَضْرَتِكَ.

7 F or the king trusts in the Lord, And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he will not be shaken.

هَذا لِأنَّ المَلِكَ يَتَّكِلُ عَلَى اللهِ. وَبِمَحَبَّتِهِ للعَلِيِّ لَنْ يُزَحْزَحَ.

8 Y our hand will find out all your enemies; Your right hand will find out those who hate you.

لِتَمتَدَّ يَدُكَ عَلَى كُلِّ أعدائِكَ. وَلْتَكُنْ يَمِينُكَ ضِدَّ مُبغِضِيكَ.

9 Y ou will make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger; The Lord will swallow them up in His wrath, And fire will devour them.

أحْرِقْهُمْ كَفُرْنٍ عِنْدَ حُضُورِكَ. ابتَلِعْهُمْ يا اللهُ فِي غَضَبِكَ، وَلتَلتَهِمْهُمْ نارُكَ.

10 T heir offspring You will destroy from the earth, And their descendants from among the sons of men.

أبناؤُهُمْ سَيَهلِكُونَ. كُلُّ نَسلِهِمْ يَزُولُ مِنْ بَينِ النّاس.

11 T hough they intended evil against You And devised a plot, They will not succeed.

يَتَآمَرُونَ عَلَيكَ، وَيُخَطِّطُونَ لِلشَّرِّ، لَكِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَنجَحُوا!

12 F or You will make them turn their back; You will aim with Your bowstrings at their faces.

لِأنَّكَ تَربِطُهُمْ كَتِفاً إلَى كَتِفٍ. وَعَلَيهِمْ تُحْكِمُ قَبْضَتَكَ.

13 B e exalted, O Lord, in Your strength; We will sing and praise Your power.

أنتَ عَلِيٌّ يا اللهُ بِقُوَّتِكَ، وَنَحنُ نَتَغَنَّى بِجَبَرُوتِكَ.
