1 T hen he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb,

ثُمَّ أرانِي المَلاكُ نَهرَ ماءِ الحَياةِ. وَكانَ النَّهرُ شَفّافاً كِالبِلَّورِ، يَتَدَفَّقُ مِنْ عَرشِ اللهِ وَالحَمَلِ إلَى وَسَطِ شَوارِعِها.

2 i n the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

وَعَلَى ضِفَّتَيِّ النَّهرِ هُناكَ شَجَرَةُ حَياةٍ تُعطِي ثَمَرَها اثنَتَي عَشْرَةَ مَرَّةً: فِي كُلِّ شَهرٍ مَرَّةً، وَأوراقُها لِشِفاءِ الأُمَمِ.

3 T here will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him;

لَنْ تَكُونَ هُناكَ لَعنَةٌ بَعدَ الآنِ، وَعَرشُ اللهِ وَالحَمَلِ سَيَكُونُ فِيها. عِبادُهُ يَتَعَبَّدُونَ لَهُ،

4 t hey will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.

وَيَرَونَ وَجهَهُ، وَاسْمُهُ يَكُونُ عَلَى جِباهِهِمْ.

5 A nd there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.

لَنْ يَكُونَ هُناكَ لَيلٌ، فَلا يَحتاجُونَ ضَوْءَ مِصباحٍ أوْ ضَوْءَ شَمسٍ، لِأنَّ الرَّبَّ الإلَهَ سَيُنِيرُ عَلَيهِمْ، وَيَسُودُونَ إلَى الأبَدِ.

6 A nd he said to me, “ These words are faithful and true”; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.

ثُمَّ قالَ لِي المَلاكُ: «هَذِهِ الكَلِماتُ مُعتَمَدَةٌ وَصَحِيحَةٌ. الرَّبُّ إلَهُ أرواحِ الأنبِياءِ قَدْ أرسَلَ مَلاكَهُ لِيُرِيَ عِبادَهُ الأشياءَ الَّتِي يَنبَغِي أنْ تَحصُلَ سَرِيعاً.

7 “ And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book.”

ها أنا آتِي سَرِيعا! هَنِيئاً لِمَنْ يَحفَظُ كَلِماتِ النُّبُوَّةِ فِي هَذا الكِتابِ.»

8 I , John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

أنا يُوحَنّا الَّذِي سَمِعَ وَرَأى هَذِهِ الأشياءَ. عِندَما سَمِعْتُها وَرَأيتُها، انحَنَيتُ لِأسجُدَ عِندَ قَدَمَيِّ المَلاكِ الَّذِي يُرِينِي هَذِهِ الأشياءَ.

9 B ut he said to me, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God.” The Final Message

لَكِنَّهُ قالَ لِي: «احذَرْ أنْ تَفعَلَ هَذا. أنا عَبْدٌ مِثلُكَ أنتَ وَإخوَتِكَ وَالأنبِياءِ، وَأُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَحفَظُونَ الكَلِماتِ الَّتِي فِي هَذا الكِتابِ. اسجُدْ للهِ.»

10 A nd he said to me, “ Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.

ثُمَّ قالَ لِي: «لا تَكتِمْ كَلِماتِ النُّبُوَّةِ الَّتِي فِي هَذا الكِتابِ، لِأنَّ الوَقتَ قَدِ اقتَرَبَ.

11 L et the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.”

فَلْيُواصِلِ الظّالِمُ ظُلمَهُ، وَليَزدَدِ النَّجِسُ نَجاسَةً، وَالبارُّ بِرّاً، وَالمُقَدَّسُ قَداسَةً!»

12 “ Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.

«ها أنا قادِمٌ سَرِيعاً، وَمَعِي الأُجرَةَ لِكَي أُجازِيَ كُلَّ واحِدٍ حَسَبَ أعمالِهِ.

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

أنا هُوَ الألِفُ وَالياءُ، الأوَّلُ وَالآخِرُ، البِدايَةُ وَالنِّهايَةُ.

14 B lessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.

هَنِيئاً لِمَنْ يُحافِظُونَ عَلَى نَظافَةِ ثِيابِهِمْ، لِكَي يَكُونَ مِنْ حَقِّهِمْ أنْ يَأكُلُوا مِنْ شَجَرَةِ الحَياةِ، وَأنْ يَعبُرُوا البَوّاباتِ وَيَدخُلُوا المَدِينَةَ.

15 O utside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

أمّا «الكِلابُ» وَمَنْ يُمارِسُونَ السِّحرَ وَالزُّناةَ وَالقَتَلَةَ وَعابِدُو الأوثانِ وَكُلُّ مَنْ يُمارِسُ الكَذِبِ، فَسَيَبقُونَ خارِجاً.»

16 “ I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

«أنا يَسُوعُ، أرسَلتُ مَلاكِي لِيُعلِنَ لَكُمْ هَذِهِ الأُمُورَ عَنِ الكَنائِسِ. أنا أصلُ داوُدَ وَنَسلُهُ، نَجمَ الصُّبحِ المُنِيرِ.»

17 T he Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.

يَقُولُ الرُّوحُ وَالعَرُوسُ: «تَعالَ!» كُلُّ مَنْ يَسمَعْ فَلْيَقُلْ: «تَعالَ!» كُلُّ مَنْ يَعطَشُ فَليَأْتِ، وَكُلُّ مَنْ يُرِيدُ فَليَأخُذْ مَجّاناً مِنَ الماءِ المُحيِي.»

18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;

إنَّنِي أُحَذِّرُ كُلَّ مَنْ يَستَمِعُ لِكَلِماتِ النُّبُوَّةِ فِي هَذا الكِتابِ: إنْ زادَ أحَدٌ عَلَيها، فَإنَّ اللهَ سَيُنزِلُ عَلَيهِ الكَوارِثَ المُدَوَّنَةَ فِيهِ.

19 a nd if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

وَإنْ حَذَفَ أحَدٌ مِنَ الكَلِماتِ الَّتِي فِي كِتابِ النُّبُوَّةِ هَذا، فَإنَّ اللهَ سَيَحرِمُهُ مِنْ نَصِيبِهِ فِي شَجَرَةِ الحَياةِ وَفِي المَدِينَةِ المُقَدَّسَةِ، المَكتُوبُ عَنهُما فِي هَذا الكِتابِ.

20 H e who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

يَسُوعُ الَّذِي يَشهَدُ لِهَذِهِ الأُمُورِ يَقُولُ: «نَعَمْ، أنا آتٍ سَرِيعاً.» آمِينْ تَعالَ أيُّها الرَّبُّ يَسُوعُ!

21 T he grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

نِعمَةُ الرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ مَعَكُمْ جَمِيعاً.
