1 T hen the whole multitude of them arose and led Him to Pilate.

Markaasaa dadkoodii oo dhan kacay, oo waxay isagii hor geeyeen Bilaatos.

2 A nd they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”

Kolkaasay bilaabeen inay ku ashtakeeyaan iyagoo leh, Waxaannu aragnay ninkan oo quruuntayada rogaya, oo diidaya in Kaysar cashuur la siiyo, oo odhanaya inuu qudhiisu yahay Masiix oo boqor ah.

3 T hen Pilate asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered him and said, “ It is as you say.”

Bilaatos ayaa weyddiiyey, isagoo leh, Ma Boqorka Yuhuudda baad tahay? Wuu u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Waad tidhi.

4 S o Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no fault in this Man.”

Dabadeed Bilaatos wuxuu wadaaddadii sare iyo dadkii ku yidhi, Anigu ninkan eed kuma aan helin.

5 B ut they were the more fierce, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.” Jesus Faces Herod

Laakiin way ku sii adkeeyeen iyagoo leh, Dadkuu kiciyaa, oo dalka Yahuudiya oo dhan ayuu wax baraa; dalka Galili ayuu ka soo bilaabay ilaa halkan. Ciise Oo Herodos Hor Taagan

6 W hen Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked if the Man were a Galilean.

Bilaatos goortuu maqlay, wuxuu weyddiiyey inuu ninku reer Galili yahay.

7 A nd as soon as he knew that He belonged to Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time.

Goortuu ogaaday inuu ka mid ahaa kuwii Herodos xukumo, wuxuu u diray Herodos, kan qudhiisu Yeruusaalem joogay wakhtigaas.

8 N ow when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad; for he had desired for a long time to see Him, because he had heard many things about Him, and he hoped to see some miracle done by Him.

Herodos goortuu Ciise arkay, aad buu u farxay, maxaa yeelay, ilaa wakhti dheer ayuu doonayay inuu arko, waayo, wax buu ka maqlay, oo wuxuu rajaynayay inuu calaamo ka arko.

9 T hen he questioned Him with many words, but He answered him nothing.

Markaasuu su'aalo badan weyddiiyey, laakiin waxba uma uu jawaabin.

10 A nd the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused Him.

Wadaaddadii sare iyo culimmadii ayaa istaagay, oo aad iyo aad bay u ashtakeeyeen.

11 T hen Herod, with his men of war, treated Him with contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him back to Pilate.

Herodos ayaa fududaystay oo ku majaajilooday, isaga iyo askartiisiiba, oo intuu dhar dhalaalaya u geliyey ayuu Bilaatos u celiyey.

12 T hat very day Pilate and Herod became friends with each other, for previously they had been at enmity with each other. Taking the Place of Barabbas

Maalintaas qudheeda Herodos iyo Bilaatos saaxiibbo bay noqdeen, intii ka horraysayse cadaawe bay isu ahaayeen. Bilaatos, Iyo Baraabbas, Iyo Ciise

13 T hen Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people,

Bilaatos ayaa isugu yeedhay wadaaddadii sare iyo taliyayaashii iyo dadkii.

14 s aid to them, “You have brought this Man to me, as one who misleads the people. And indeed, having examined Him in your presence, I have found no fault in this Man concerning those things of which you accuse Him;

Markaasuu wuxuu ku yidhi, Ninkan waxaad iigu keenteen sidii mid dadka rogaya. Bal ogaada, hortiinna ayaan wax ku weyddiiyey, oo ninkan kuma aan helin eed ku saabsan waxaad ku ashtakaynaysaan.

15 n o, neither did Herod, for I sent you back to him; and indeed nothing deserving of death has been done by Him.

Herodosna kuma uu helin, wuuna noo soo celiyey, oo ma jiro wax dhimasho istaahila oo uu sameeyey.

16 I will therefore chastise Him and release Him ”

Taas aawadeed waan edbinayaa oo sii daynayaa.

17 ( for it was necessary for him to release one to them at the feast).

Waayo, waajib bay ahayd inuu iidda mid u sii daayo iyaga.

18 A nd they all cried out at once, saying, “Away with this Man, and release to us Barabbas”—

Markaasay wada qayliyeen, iyagoo leh, Wad kan, Baraabbas noo sii daa,

19 w ho had been thrown into prison for a certain rebellion made in the city, and for murder.

kan xabsiga loogu riday fallaagaduu magaalada ka riday iyo dilid aawadeed.

20 P ilate, therefore, wishing to release Jesus, again called out to them.

Mar kale Bilaatos ayaa iyaga la hadlay isagoo doonaya inuu Ciise sii daayo.

21 B ut they shouted, saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!”

Laakiin way qayliyeen, iyagoo leh, Iskutallaabta ku qodob, iskutallaabta ku qodob.

22 T hen he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has He done? I have found no reason for death in Him. I will therefore chastise Him and let Him go.”

Markaasuu wuxuu kolkii saddexaad ku yidhi, Waayo? Waa maxay sharka kanu sameeyey? Kuma aan helin sabab lagu dilo, taas aawadeed waan edbinayaa oo sii daynayaa.

23 B ut they were insistent, demanding with loud voices that He be crucified. And the voices of these men and of the chief priests prevailed.

Laakiin cod weyn ayay ku adkaysteen iyagoo weyddiisanaya in iskutallaabta lagu qodbo, oo waxaa xoog batay codadkoodii iyo codadkii wadaaddada sare.

24 S o Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they requested.

Markaasaa Bilaatos wuxuu xukumay in loo yeelo waxay weyddiisteen.

25 A nd he released to them the one they requested, who for rebellion and murder had been thrown into prison; but he delivered Jesus to their will. The King on a Cross

Wuuna sii daayay kii fallaagada iyo dilidda xabsiga loogu riday oo ay weyddiisteen, laakiin Ciise buu u dhiibay iyaga siday doonayeen. Ciise Waa Lagu Qodbay Iskutallaabta

26 N ow as they led Him away, they laid hold of a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, and on him they laid the cross that he might bear it after Jesus.

Kolkay wadeen, waxay qabteen Simoon reer Kuranaya ah isagoo beeraha ka soo socda, waxayna saareen iskutallaabtii inuu Ciise ka daba qaado.

27 A nd a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him.

Waxaana la socday dad badan iyo dumar laabta garaacaya oo barooranaya.

28 B ut Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

Laakiin Ciise intuu u soo jeestay, wuxuu ku yidhi, Gabdhaha Yeruusaalemow, ha ii ooyina, laakiin u ooya qudhiinna iyo carruurtiinna,

29 F or indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!’

waayo, bal eega, wakhtigu waa imanayaa goortay odhan doonaan, Waxaa barakaysan madhashada iyo uurarka aan weligood dhalin iyo naasaha aan weligood la nuugin.

30 T hen they will begin ‘to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!”’

Markaasay bilaabi doonaan inay buuraha ku yidhaahdaan, Nagu soo dhaca, oo ay gumburahana ku yidhaahdaan, Na qariya.

31 F or if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?”

Waayo, hadday geedka qoyan waxaas ku sameeyaan, maxaa ku dhici doona kan engegan?

32 T here were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death.

Waxaana lala waday laba kale oo xumaanfalayaal ah in lala dilo.

33 A nd when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.

Markay yimaadeen meeshii la yidhaahda dhakada, halkaasay iskutallaabo ku qodbeen isaga iyo xumaanfalayaashii, mid midigta, kan kalena bidixda.

34 T hen Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.

Markaasaa Ciise wuxuu yidhi, Aabbow, iyaga cafi, waayo, garan maayaan waxay samaynayaan. Markaasay dharkiisii qaybsadeen, wayna saami riteen.

35 A nd the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.”

Dadkuna way taagnaayeen iyagoo daawanaya. Taliyayaashuna way ku qosleen iyagoo leh, Kuwa kale ayuu badbaadiyey, kanu ha isbadbaadiyo, hadduu yahay Masiixa Ilaah, kan uu doortay.

36 T he soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine,

Askartiina waa ku majaajiloodeen, oo intay u yimaadeen, ayay khal siiyeen,

37 a nd saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself.”

oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Haddii aad tahay boqorka Yuhuudda, isbadbaadi.

38 A nd an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Meel ka korraysay isagana waxaa ku qorraa qorniin leh, KANU WAA BOQORKA YUHUUDDA.

39 T hen one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”

Xumaanfalayaashii deldelnaa midkood ayaa caayay isagoo leh, Miyaanad ahayn Masiixa? Annaga iyo qudhaadaba badbaadi.

40 B ut the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?

Laakiin kii kale ayaa jawaabay oo canaantay isagoo leh, Miyaanad xataa Ilaah ka baqin, waayo, isku xukun baad tihiin?

41 A nd we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.”

Waayo, innaga waa inoo xaq, maxaa yeelay, waxaynu helnay abaalkii wixii aynu falnay, ninkanuse wax aan jid ahayn ma uu falin.

42 T hen he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

Markaasuu ku yidhi, Ciisow, i xusuuso goortaad boqortooyadaada ku timaado.

43 A nd Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Jesus Dies on the Cross

Wuxuu ku yidhi, Runtii waxaan kugu leeyahay, Maanta Firdooska ayaad igula jiri doontaa. Ciise Waa Dhintay

44 N ow it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

Haddaba waxay ahayd abbaaraha saacaddii lixaad, dhulka oo dhammuna gudcur buu noqday ilaa saacaddii sagaalaad.

45 T hen the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.

Qorraxdu way madoobaatay, daahii macbudkuna dhexda ayuu ka kala dillaacay.

46 A nd when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’” Having said this, He breathed His last.

Markaasaa Ciise cod weyn ku dhawaaqay oo yidhi, Aabbow, gacmahaaga ayaan ruuxayga u dhiibayaa. Goortuu waxaas yidhi, ayuu ruuxii bixiyey.

47 S o when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous Man!”

Boqol-u-taliyihii goortuu arkay wixii dhacay, ayuu Ilaah ammaanay oo yidhi, Hubaal ninkanu xaq buu ahaa.

48 A nd the whole crowd who came together to that sight, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned.

Dadkii oo dhan oo daawasho isugu yimid, goortay arkeen wixii dhacay, ayay noqdeen iyagoo laabta garaacaya.

49 B ut all His acquaintances, and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things. Jesus Buried in Joseph’s Tomb

Waxaa meel fogna ka taagnaayeen kuwii Ciise yiqiin oo dhan iyo dumarkii Galili ka soo raacay, iyagoo waxaas dayaya. Ciise Waa La Aasay

50 N ow behold, there was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man.

Oo bal eeg, waxaa jiray nin Yuusuf la odhan jiray oo taliye ahaa, wuxuuna ahaa nin wanaagsan oo xaq ah,

51 H e had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God.

(isaguna raalli kama ahayn waanidoodii iyo falniinkoodii), wuxuuna ahaa reer Arimataya oo ahayd magaalo Yuhuudda, kan boqortooyada Ilaah sugayay.

52 T his man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

Kanu wuxuu u tegey Bilaatos oo ka baryay Ciise meydkiisii.

53 T hen he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before.

Markaasuu soo dejiyey oo kafan ku duudduubay, oo wuxuu geliyey xabaal dhagax ka qodnayd, meel aan weligeed ninna la dhigin.

54 T hat day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near.

Waxay ahayd Maalintii Diyaargarayska, sabtidiina waa soo dhowaanaysay.

55 A nd the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid.

Dumarkii kala yimid Galili ayaa daba socday oo arkay xabaashii iyo sida meydkiisii loo dhigay.

56 T hen they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.

Markaasay noqdeen, oo dhir udgoon iyo cadar soo diyargareeyeen. Sabtidiina way nasteen sida qaynuunka u ahaa.
