1 M y son, pay attention to my wisdom; Lend your ear to my understanding,

我 儿 ， 要 留 心 我 智 慧 的 话 语 ， 侧 耳 听 我 聪 明 的 言 词 ，

2 T hat you may preserve discretion, And your lips may keep knowledge.

为 要 使 你 谨 守 谋 略 ， 嘴 唇 保 存 知 识 。

3 F or the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil;

因 为 淫 妇 的 嘴 滴 下 蜂 蜜 ； 他 的 口 比 油 更 滑 ，

4 B ut in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword.

至 终 却 苦 似 茵 ? ， 快 如 两 刃 的 刀 。

5 H er feet go down to death, Her steps lay hold of hell.

他 的 脚 下 入 死 地 ； 他 脚 步 踏 住 阴 间 ，

6 L est you ponder her path of life— Her ways are unstable; You do not know them.

以 致 他 找 不 着 生 命 平 坦 的 道 。 他 的 路 变 迁 不 定 ， 自 己 还 不 知 道 。

7 T herefore hear me now, my children, And do not depart from the words of my mouth.

众 子 啊 ， 现 在 要 听 从 我 ； 不 可 离 弃 我 口 中 的 话 。

8 R emove your way far from her, And do not go near the door of her house,

你 所 行 的 道 要 离 他 远 ， 不 可 就 近 他 的 房 门 ，

9 L est you give your honor to others, And your years to the cruel one;

恐 怕 将 你 的 尊 荣 给 别 人 ， 将 你 的 岁 月 给 残 忍 的 人 ；

10 L est aliens be filled with your wealth, And your labors go to the house of a foreigner;

恐 怕 外 人 满 得 你 的 力 量 ， 你 劳 碌 得 来 的 ， 归 入 外 人 的 家 ；

11 A nd you mourn at last, When your flesh and your body are consumed,

终 久 ， 你 皮 肉 和 身 体 消 毁 ， 你 就 悲 叹 ，

12 A nd say: “How I have hated instruction, And my heart despised correction!

说 ： 我 怎 麽 恨 恶 训 诲 ， 心 中 藐 视 责 备 ，

13 I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!

也 不 听 从 我 师 傅 的 话 ， 又 不 侧 耳 听 那 教 训 我 的 人 ？

14 I was on the verge of total ruin, In the midst of the assembly and congregation.”

我 在 圣 会 里 ， 几 乎 落 在 诸 般 恶 中 。

15 D rink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.

你 要 喝 自 己 池 中 的 水 ， 饮 自 己 井 里 的 活 水 。

16 S hould your fountains be dispersed abroad, Streams of water in the streets?

你 的 泉 源 岂 可 涨 溢 在 外 ？ 你 的 河 水 岂 可 流 在 街 上 ？

17 L et them be only your own, And not for strangers with you.

惟 独 归 你 一 人 ， 不 可 与 外 人 同 用 。

18 L et your fountain be blessed, And rejoice with the wife of your youth.

要 使 你 的 泉 源 蒙 福 ； 要 喜 悦 你 幼 年 所 娶 的 妻 。

19 A s a loving deer and a graceful doe, Let her breasts satisfy you at all times; And always be enraptured with her love.

他 如 可 爱 的 ? 鹿 ， 可 喜 的 母 鹿 ； 愿 他 的 胸 怀 使 你 时 时 知 足 ， 他 的 爱 情 使 你 常 常 恋 慕 。

20 F or why should you, my son, be enraptured by an immoral woman, And be embraced in the arms of a seductress?

我 儿 ， 你 为 何 恋 慕 淫 妇 ？ 为 何 抱 外 女 的 胸 怀 ？

21 F or the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, And He ponders all his paths.

因 为 ， 人 所 行 的 道 都 在 耶 和 华 眼 前 ； 他 也 修 平 人 一 切 的 路 。

22 H is own iniquities entrap the wicked man, And he is caught in the cords of his sin.

恶 人 必 被 自 己 的 罪 孽 捉 住 ； 他 必 被 自 己 的 罪 恶 如 绳 索 缠 绕 。

23 H e shall die for lack of instruction, And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

他 因 不 受 训 诲 就 必 死 亡 ； 又 因 愚 昧 过 甚 ， 必 走 差 了 路 。
