1 T hen Joseph could not restrain himself before all those who stood by him, and he cried out, “Make everyone go out from me!” So no one stood with him while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.

约 瑟 在 左 右 站 着 的 人 面 前 情 不 自 禁 ， 吩 咐 一 声 说 ： 人 都 要 离 开 我 出 去 ！ 约 瑟 和 弟 兄 相 认 的 时 候 并 没 有 一 人 站 在 他 面 前 。

2 A nd he wept aloud, and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard it.

他 就 放 声 大 哭 ， 埃 及 人 和 法 老 家 中 的 人 都 听 见 了 。

3 T hen Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph; does my father still live?” But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence.

约 瑟 对 他 弟 兄 们 说 ： 我 是 约 瑟 。 我 的 父 亲 还 在 麽 ？ 他 弟 兄 不 能 回 答 ， 因 为 在 他 面 前 都 惊 惶 。

4 A nd Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come near to me.” So they came near. Then he said: “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.

约 瑟 又 对 他 弟 兄 们 说 ： 请 你 们 近 前 来 。 他 们 就 近 前 来 。 他 说 ： 我 是 你 们 的 兄 弟 约 瑟 ， 就 是 你 们 所 卖 到 埃 及 的 。

5 B ut now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.

现 在 ， 不 要 因 为 把 我 卖 到 这 里 自 忧 自 恨 。 这 是 神 差 我 在 你 们 以 先 来 ， 为 要 保 全 生 命 。

6 F or these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting.

现 在 这 地 的 饥 荒 已 经 二 年 了 ， 还 有 五 年 不 能 耕 种 ， 不 能 收 成 。

7 A nd God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

神 差 我 在 你 们 以 先 来 ， 为 要 给 你 们 存 留 馀 种 在 世 上 ， 又 要 大 施 拯 救 ， 保 全 你 们 的 生 命 。

8 S o now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

这 样 看 来 ， 差 我 到 这 里 来 的 不 是 你 们 ， 乃 是 神 。 他 又 使 我 如 法 老 的 父 ， 作 他 全 家 的 主 ， 并 埃 及 全 地 的 宰 相 。

9 “ Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him, ‘Thus says your son Joseph: “God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not tarry.

你 们 要 赶 紧 上 到 我 父 亲 那 里 。 对 他 说 ： 你 儿 子 约 瑟 这 样 说 ： 神 使 我 作 全 埃 及 的 主 ， 请 你 下 到 我 这 里 来 ， 不 要 耽 延 。

10 Y ou shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to me, you and your children, your children’s children, your flocks and your herds, and all that you have.

你 和 你 我 儿 子 孙 子 ， 连 牛 群 羊 群 ， 并 一 切 所 有 的 ， 都 可 以 住 在 歌 珊 地 ， 与 我 相 近 。

11 T here I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine.”’

我 要 在 那 里 奉 养 你 ； 因 为 还 有 五 年 的 饥 荒 ， 免 得 你 和 你 的 眷 属 ， 并 一 切 所 有 的 ， 都 败 落 了 。

12 “ And behold, your eyes and the eyes of my brother Benjamin see that it is my mouth that speaks to you.

况 且 你 们 的 眼 和 我 兄 弟 便 雅 悯 的 眼 都 看 见 是 我 亲 口 对 你 们 说 话 。

13 S o you shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen; and you shall hurry and bring my father down here.”

你 们 也 要 将 我 在 埃 及 一 切 的 荣 耀 和 你 们 所 看 见 的 事 都 告 诉 我 父 亲 ， 又 要 赶 紧 的 将 我 父 亲 搬 到 我 这 里 来 。

14 T hen he fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck.

於 是 约 瑟 伏 在 他 兄 弟 便 雅 悯 的 颈 项 上 哭 ， 便 雅 悯 也 在 他 的 颈 项 上 哭 。

15 M oreover he kissed all his brothers and wept over them, and after that his brothers talked with him.

他 又 与 众 弟 兄 亲 嘴 ， 抱 着 他 们 哭 ， 随 後 他 弟 兄 就 和 他 说 话 。

16 N ow the report of it was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, “Joseph’s brothers have come.” So it pleased Pharaoh and his servants well.

这 风 声 传 到 法 老 的 宫 里 ， 说 ： 约 瑟 的 弟 兄 们 来 了 。 法 老 和 他 的 臣 仆 都 很 喜 欢 。

17 A nd Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Say to your brothers, ‘Do this: Load your animals and depart; go to the land of Canaan.

法 老 对 约 瑟 说 ： 你 吩 咐 你 的 弟 兄 们 说 ： 你 们 要 这 样 行 ： 把 驮 子 抬 在 牲 口 上 ， 起 身 往 迦 南 地 去 。

18 B ring your father and your households and come to me; I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.

将 你 们 的 父 亲 和 你 们 的 眷 属 都 搬 到 我 这 里 来 ， 我 要 把 埃 及 地 的 美 物 赐 给 你 们 ， 你 们 也 要 吃 这 地 肥 美 的 出 产 。

19 N ow you are commanded—do this: Take carts out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and your wives; bring your father and come.

现 在 我 吩 咐 你 们 要 这 样 行 ： 从 埃 及 地 带 着 车 辆 去 ， 把 你 们 的 孩 子 和 妻 子 ， 并 你 们 的 父 亲 都 搬 来 。

20 A lso do not be concerned about your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.’”

你 们 眼 中 不 要 爱 惜 你 们 的 家 具 ， 因 为 埃 及 全 地 的 美 物 都 是 你 们 的 。

21 T hen the sons of Israel did so; and Joseph gave them carts, according to the command of Pharaoh, and he gave them provisions for the journey.

以 色 列 的 儿 子 们 就 如 此 行 。 约 瑟 照 着 法 老 的 吩 咐 给 他 们 车 辆 和 路 上 用 的 食 物 ，

22 H e gave to all of them, to each man, changes of garments; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of garments.

又 给 他 们 各 人 一 套 衣 服 ， 惟 独 给 便 雅 悯 三 百 银 子 ， 五 套 衣 服 ；

23 A nd he sent to his father these things: ten donkeys loaded with the good things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain, bread, and food for his father for the journey.

送 给 他 父 亲 公 驴 十 匹 ， 驮 着 埃 及 的 美 物 ， 母 驴 十 匹 ， 驮 着 粮 食 与 饼 和 菜 ， 为 他 父 亲 路 上 用 。

24 S o he sent his brothers away, and they departed; and he said to them, “See that you do not become troubled along the way.”

於 是 约 瑟 打 发 他 弟 兄 们 回 去 ， 又 对 他 们 说 ： 你 们 不 要 在 路 上 相 争 。

25 T hen they went up out of Egypt, and came to the land of Canaan to Jacob their father.

他 们 从 埃 及 上 去 ， 来 到 迦 南 地 、 他 们 的 父 亲 雅 各 那 里 ，

26 A nd they told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt.” And Jacob’s heart stood still, because he did not believe them.

告 诉 他 说 ： 约 瑟 还 在 ， 并 且 作 埃 及 全 地 的 宰 相 。 雅 各 心 里 冰 凉 ， 因 为 不 信 他 们 。

27 B ut when they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived.

他 们 便 将 约 瑟 对 他 们 说 的 一 切 话 都 告 诉 了 他 。 他 们 父 亲 雅 各 又 看 见 约 瑟 打 发 来 接 他 的 车 辆 ， 心 就 苏 醒 了 。

28 T hen Israel said, “ It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

以 色 列 说 ： 罢 了 ！ 罢 了 ！ 我 的 儿 子 约 瑟 还 在 ， 趁 我 未 死 以 先 ， 我 要 去 见 他 一 面 。
