1 T hen the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Markaasaa Rabbigu Muuse la hadlay oo wuxuu ku yidhi,

2 Sanctify to Me every firstborn, the first offspring of every womb among the sons of Israel, both of man and beast; it belongs to Me.”

Curadyada oo dhan quduus iiga dhig; wax alla wixii maxal fura oo ku dhex jira reer binu Israa'iil, dad iyo duunyoba, anigaa iska leh.

3 M oses said to the people, “ Remember this day in which you went out from Egypt, from the house of slavery; for by a powerful hand the Lord brought you out from this place. And nothing leavened shall be eaten.

Markaasaa Muuse wuxuu dadkii ku yidhi, Xusuusta maalintan aad Masar ka soo baxdeen, oo aad ka soo baxdeen gurigii addoonsiga; waayo, Rabbigu gacan xoog badan buu idinkaga soo bixiyey meeshan; waa inaan kibis khamiirsan la cunin.

4 O n this day in the month of Abib, you are about to go forth.

Idinku waxaad baxdeen maanta oo ah bisha Aabiib.

5 I t shall be when the Lord brings you to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall observe this rite in this month.

Oo markii Rabbigu idin geeyo dalka reer Kancaan iyo reer Xeed, iyo reer Amor, iyo reer Xiwi, iyo reer Yebuus, oo uu awowayaashiin ugu dhaartay inuu idin siinayo, kaas oo ah dal caano iyo malab la barwaaqaysan, de markaas waa inaad bishan dhexdeeda dhawrtaan u adeegiddan Ilaah.

6 F or seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the Lord.

Toddoba maalmood waa inaad kibis aan khamiir lahayn cuntaan, oo maalinta toddobaad waa inay iid Rabbiga u ahaato.

7 U nleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and nothing leavened shall be seen among you, nor shall any leaven be seen among you in all your borders.

Oo kibis aan khamiir lahayn waa in la cunaa toddobada maalmood oo dhan; oo waa inaan lagugu arag kibis khamiirsan, ama waa inaan xataa lagugu arag khamiir, tan iyo xudduudkaaga oo dhan.

8 Y ou shall tell your son on that day, saying, ‘It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

Maalintaas waa inaad wiilkaaga u sheegtaa, oo waxaad ku tidhaahdaa, Waa wixii Rabbigu ii sameeyey aawadood markii aan Masar ka soo baxay.

9 A nd it shall serve as a sign to you on your hand, and as a reminder on your forehead, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth; for with a powerful hand the Lord brought you out of Egypt.

Oo waxay kuu noqon doontaa calaamo gacantaada saaran, iyo xusuus indhahaaga u dhaxaysa, in Rabbiga sharcigiisu afkaaga ku jiro; waayo, Rabbigu gacan xoog leh buu kaaga soo bixiyey dalkii Masar.

10 T herefore, you shall keep this ordinance at its appointed time from year to year.

Sidaas daraaddeed waa inaad amarkan haysaa xilligiisa, oo aad dhawrtaa sannad ilaa sannad.

11 Now when the Lord brings you to the land of the Canaanite, as He swore to you and to your fathers, and gives it to you,

Oo markii Rabbigu ku geeyo dalka reer Kancaan siduu ugu dhaartay adiga iyo awowayaashaaba, oo uu ku siiyo,

12 y ou shall devote to the Lord the first offspring of every womb, and the first offspring of every beast that you own; the males belong to the Lord.

de markaas waa inaad Rabbiga gooni ugu soocdaa kulli intii maxal furta oo dhan iyo intii xoolaha curad ah, mid kasta oo lab ah Rabbigu waa iska lahaan doonaa.

13 B ut every first offspring of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb, but if you do not redeem it, then you shall break its neck; and every firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem.

Oo curad kasta oo dameer ah waa inaad ku madax furtaa wan yar; oo haddii aadan doonaynin inaad madax furto, de markaas waa inaad luqunta ka jebisaa, oo dadkaaga curadyadiisa oo dhan waa inaad wax ku madax furtaa.

14 A nd it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ then you shall say to him, ‘ With a powerful hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, from the house of slavery.

Oo dabadeedto markii wiilkaagu wax ku weyddiiyo oo kugu yidhaahdo, Waxanu waa maxay? waa inaad ku tidhaahdaa isaga, Gacan xoog badan baa Rabbigu nagaga soo bixiyey Masar oo ahaa gurigii addoonsiga;

15 I t came about, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord killed every firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore, I sacrifice to the Lord the males, the first offspring of every womb, but every firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

oo markii Fircoon dooni waayay inuu na sii daayo, waxaa dhacday inuu Rabbigu wada laayay curadyadii Masar oo dhan oo ahaa curadyadii dadka iyo curadyadii duunyadaba; oo sidaas daraaddeed baan Rabbiga allabari ugu bixiyaa wax alla wixii maxal fura oo dhan, ee ah inta lab, laakiinse dadkayga curadyadiisa oo dhan wax baan ku madax furtaa.

16 S o it shall serve as a sign on your hand and as phylacteries on your forehead, for with a powerful hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.” God Leads the People

Oo waxay kuu noqon doontaa calaamo gacantaada saaran, iyo wax ka laalaada indhahaaga dhexdooda; waayo, Rabbigu gacan xoog badan buu Masar nagaga soo bixiyey. Ka Gudubkii Badda

17 N ow when Pharaoh had let the people go, God did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, even though it was near; for God said, “ The people might change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.”

Oo markii Fircoon dadkii sii daayay, Ilaah kuma uu kaxayn jidka dalka reer Falastiin in kastoo uu kaasu dhowaa, waayo, Ilaah wuxuu yidhi, Waaba intaasoo dadku markay dagaal arkaan ay qoomameeyaan, oo ay Masar dib ugu noqdaan.

18 H ence God led the people around by the way of the wilderness to the Red Sea; and the sons of Israel went up in martial array from the land of Egypt.

Laakiinse Ilaah wuxuu dadkii u hor kacay waddada la wareegta cidlada ku ag taal Badda Cas; reer binu Israa'iilna waxay Masar ka bexeen iyagoo hubkoodii sita.

19 M oses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he had made the sons of Israel solemnly swear, saying, “God will surely take care of you, and you shall carry my bones from here with you.”

Markaasaa Muuse wuxuu qaaday lafihii Yuusuf; waayo, Yuusuf aad buu ugu dhaartay reer binu Israa'iil, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Hubaal Ilaah waa idin soo booqan doonaa; ee lafahayga waa inaad halkan ka qaaddaan.

20 T hen they set out from Succoth and camped in Etham on the edge of the wilderness.

Oo waxay sodcaalkoodii ka bilaabeen Sukod, oo waxay degeen Eetaam, oo ku taal cidlada qarkeeda.

21 T he Lord was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.

Rabbiguna inuu iyaga jidka tuso aawadeed ayuu maalintii hortooda socon jiray isagoo ku jira tiir daruur ah, habeenkiina tiir dab ah, inuu iyaga u iftiimiyo si ay u socdaan hadh iyo habeenba.

22 H e did not take away the pillar of cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

Tiirkii daruurta ahaa oo maalinta, iyo tiirkii dabka ahaa oo habeenka kama tegin dadka hortiisa.
