1 看 哪 ， 必 有 一 王 憑 公 義 行 政 ； 必 有 首 領 藉 公 平 掌 權 。

Behold, a King will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule with justice.

2 必 有 一 人 像 避 風 所 和 避 暴 雨 的 隱 密 處 ， 又 像 河 流 在 乾 旱 之 地 ， 像 大 磐 石 的 影 子 在 疲 乏 之 地 。

And each one of them shall be like a hiding place from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.

3 那 能 看 的 人 ， 眼 不 再 昏 迷 ； 能 聽 的 人 ， 耳 必 得 聽 聞 。

Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed or dimmed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.

4 冒 失 人 的 心 必 明 白 知 識 ； 結 巴 人 的 舌 必 說 話 通 快 。

And the mind of the rash will understand knowledge and have good judgment, and the tongue of the stammerers will speak readily and plainly.

5 愚 頑 人 不 再 稱 為 高 明 ， 吝 嗇 人 不 再 稱 為 大 方 。

The fool (the unbeliever and the ungodly) will no more be called noble, nor the crafty and greedy said to be bountiful and princely.

6 因 為 愚 頑 人 必 說 愚 頑 話 ， 心 裡 想 作 罪 孽 ， 慣 行 褻 瀆 的 事 ， 說 錯 謬 的 話 攻 擊 耶 和 華 ， 使 飢 餓 的 人 無 食 可 吃 ， 使 口 渴 的 人 無 水 可 喝 。

For the fool speaks folly and his mind plans iniquity: practicing profane ungodliness and speaking error concerning the Lord, leaving the craving of the hungry unsatisfied and causing the drink of the thirsty to fail.

7 吝 嗇 人 所 用 的 法 子 是 惡 的 ； 他 圖 謀 惡 計 ， 用 謊 言 毀 滅 謙 卑 人 ； 窮 乏 人 講 公 理 的 時 候 ， 他 也 是 這 樣 行 。

The instruments and methods of the fraudulent and greedy are evil; he devises wicked devices to ruin the poor and the lowly with lying words, even when the plea of the needy is just and right.

8 高 明 人 卻 謀 高 明 事 ， 在 高 明 事 上 也 必 永 存 。

But the noble, openhearted, and liberal man devises noble things; and he stands for what is noble, openhearted, and generous.

9 安 逸 的 婦 女 啊 ， 起 來 聽 我 的 聲 音 ！ 無 慮 的 女 子 啊 ， 側 耳 聽 我 的 言 語 ！

Rise up, you women who are at ease! Hear my voice, you confident and careless daughters! Listen to what I am saying!

10 無 慮 的 女 子 啊 ， 再 過 一 年 多 ， 必 受 騷 擾 ； 因 為 無 葡 萄 可 摘 ， 無 果 子 （ 或 譯 ： 禾 稼 ） 可 收 。

In little more than a year you will be shaken with anxiety, you careless and complacent women; for the vintage will fail, and the ingathering will not come.

11 安 逸 的 婦 女 啊 ， 要 戰 兢 ； 無 慮 的 女 子 啊 ， 要 受 騷 擾 。 脫 去 衣 服 ， 赤 著 身 體 ， 腰 束 麻 布 。

Tremble, you women who are at ease! Shudder with fear, you complacent ones! Strip yourselves bare and gird sackcloth upon your loins!

12 他 們 必 為 美 好 的 田 地 和 多 結 果 的 葡 萄 樹 ， 搥 胸 哀 哭 。

They shall beat upon their breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,

13 荊 棘 蒺 藜 必 長 在 我 百 姓 的 地 上 ， 又 長 在 歡 樂 的 城 中 和 一 切 快 樂 的 房 屋 上 。

For the land of my people growing over with thorns and briers—yes, for all the houses of joy in the joyous city.

14 因 為 宮 殿 必 被 撇 下 ， 多 民 的 城 必 被 離 棄 ； 山 岡 望 樓 永 為 洞 穴 ， 作 野 驢 所 喜 樂 的 ， 為 羊 群 的 草 場 。

For the palace shall be forsaken, the populous city shall be deserted; the hill and the watchtower shall become dens endlessly, a joy for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks,

15 等 到 聖 靈 從 上 澆 灌 我 們 ， 曠 野 就 變 為 肥 田 ， 肥 田 看 如 樹 林 。

Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is valued as a forest.

16 那 時 ， 公 平 要 居 在 曠 野 ； 公 義 要 居 在 肥 田 。

Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) will abide in the fruitful field.

17 公 義 的 果 效 必 是 平 安 ； 公 義 的 效 驗 必 是 平 穩 ， 直 到 永 遠 。

And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever.

18 我 的 百 姓 必 住 在 平 安 的 居 所 ， 安 穩 的 住 處 ， 平 靜 的 安 歇 所 。

My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.

19 （ 但 要 降 冰 雹 打 倒 樹 林 ； 城 必 全 然 拆 平 。 ）

But it shall hail, coming down overpoweringly on the forest, and the capital city shall be utterly humbled and laid prostrate.

20 你 們 在 各 水 邊 撒 種 、 牧 放 牛 驢 的 有 福 了 ！

Happy and fortunate are you who cast your seed upon all waters, you who safely send forth the ox and the donkey.
