1 ( По слав. 52). За първия певец, по боледуването му, Давидово поучение. Безумният рече в сърцето си: Няма Бог. Поквариха се и сториха гнусно беззаконие; Няма кой да прави добро.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

2 Б ог надникна от небето над човешките чада, За да види, има ли някой разумен, Който да търси Бога.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

3 В секи един от тях се обърна надире; всички заедно се развратиха; Няма кой да прави добро, няма ни един.

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

4 Б ез разум ли са ония, които беззаконствуват. Които изпояждат людете ми както ядат хляб, И не призовават Бога?

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

5 Т ам ги нападна голям страх, гдето нямаше страх; Защото Бог разпръсна костите на оплакващите се против тебе; Посрамил си ги, защото Бог ги отхвърли.

There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

6 Д ано дойде от Сион избавление за Израиля! Когато върне Бог своите люде от плен, Тогава ще се зарадва Яков, ще се развесели Израил.

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
