1 And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle and had anointed it and sanctified it with all its vessels; likewise having anointed and sanctified the altar, with all its vessels;

Now it came to pass, when Moses had finished setting up the tabernacle, that he anointed it and consecrated it and all its furnishings, and the altar and all its utensils; so he anointed them and consecrated them.

2 t hat the princes of Israel, heads of the houses of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over those that were numbered, offered;

Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of their fathers’ houses, who were the leaders of the tribes and over those who were numbered, made an offering.

3 a nd they brought their offerings before the LORD, six covered wagons and twelve oxen: a wagon for each two of the princes and for each one an ox, which they offered before the tabernacle.

And they brought their offering before the Lord, six covered carts and twelve oxen, a cart for every two of the leaders, and for each one an ox; and they presented them before the tabernacle.

4 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

5 T ake it from them, and it shall be for the service of the tabernacle of the testimony; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to each one according to his ministry.

“Accept these from them, that they may be used in doing the work of the tabernacle of meeting; and you shall give them to the Levites, to every man according to his service.”

6 T hen Moses received the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.

So Moses took the carts and the oxen, and gave them to the Levites.

7 T wo wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their ministry;

8 a nd four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according to their ministry, under the hand of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest.

9 B ut unto the sons of Kohath he gave none; because the ministry of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders.

10 And the princes offered at the dedication of the altar the day that it was anointed; even the princes offered their offering before the altar.

11 A nd the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, at the dedication of the altar.

For the Lord said to Moses, “They shall offer their offering, one leader each day, for the dedication of the altar.”

12 A nd he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah.

And the one who offered his offering on the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, from the tribe of Judah.

13 A nd his offering was one silver charger, the weight thereof was one hundred and thirty shekels, and one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil for a present;

17 a nd for a sacrifice of peace, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Nahshon, the son of Amminadab.

18 O n the second day Nethaneel, the son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, offered.

24 O n the third day Eliab, the son of Helon, prince of the sons of Zebulun.

84 T his was the dedication of the altar, the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold,

85 e ach charger of silver weighing one hundred and thirty shekels, each bowl seventy; all the silver of the vessels, two thousand four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

86 T he twelve golden spoons full of incense, ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary; all the gold of the spoons was one hundred and twenty shekels.

87 A ll the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their present; and the he goats for sin twelve.

All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve young bulls, the rams twelve, the male lambs in their first year twelve, with their grain offering, and the kids of the goats as a sin offering twelve.

88 A nd all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace were twenty-four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.

And all the oxen for the sacrifice of peace offerings were twenty-four bulls, the rams sixty, the male goats sixty, and the lambs in their first year sixty. This was the dedication offering for the altar after it was anointed.

89 A nd when Moses entered into the tabernacle of the testimony to speak with Him, then he heard the voice of the one speaking unto him from above the seat of reconciliation that was over the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim; and he spoke with him.

Now when Moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him.
