1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2 A nd the first went and poured out his vial upon the earth; and an evil and grievous sore fell upon the men who had the mark of the beast and upon those who worshipped its image.

3 A nd the second angel poured out his vial into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man, and every living soul died in the sea.

4 A nd the third angel poured out his vial into the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

5 A nd I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, who art and wast the Holy one because thou hast judged these things;

And I heard the angel of the waters saying: “You are righteous, O Lord, The One who is and who was and who is to be, Because You have judged these things.

6 f or they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they deserve it.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.”

7 A nd I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

And I heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.” Fourth Bowl: Men Are Scorched

8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial against the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.

Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.

9 A nd men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, who has authority over these plagues; and they did not repent to give him glory.

10 A nd the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the throne of the beast; and its kingdom was filled with darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

11 a nd blasphemed the God of the heaven because of their pains and their sores and did not repent of their deeds.

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial into the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings from the rising of the sun might be prepared.

13 A nd I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of the heaven from the throne, saying, It is done.

18 T hen there were voices and thunders and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as has never been since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 A nd the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the Gentiles fell; and Babylon the great came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
