6 A nd he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I Jehovah will make myself known to him in a vision, I will speak to him in a dream.

7 N ot so my servant Moses: he is faithful in all my house.

My slave Moses is not so, who is faithful in all my house.

8 M outh to mouth do I speak to him openly, and not in riddles; and the form of Jehovah doth he behold. Why then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?

With him I will speak mouth to mouth and by sight not by enigmas; he shall see the similitude of the LORD. Why then were ye not afraid to speak against my slave Moses?

And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.

15 A nd Miriam was shut outside the camp seven days; and the people did not journey till Miriam was received in.

So Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days, and the people did not journey until Miriam was brought in again.
