1 G ive ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.

Dá ouvidos

2 H earken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

Atende ã voz do meu clamor, Rei meu e Deus meu, pois é a ti que oro.

3 M y voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Pela manhã ouves a minha voz, ó Senhor; pela manhã te apresento a minha oração, e vigio.

4 F or thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

Porque tu não és um Deus que tenha prazer na iniqüidade, nem contigo habitará o mal.

5 T he foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Os arrogantes não subsistirão diante dos teus olhos; detestas a todos os que praticam a maldade.

6 T hou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

Destróis aqueles que proferem a mentira; ao sanguinário e ao fraudulento o Senhor abomina.

7 B ut as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

Mas eu, pela grandeza da tua benignidade, entrarei em tua casa; e em teu temor me inclinarei para o teu santo templo.

8 L ead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

Guia-me, Senhor, na tua justiça, por causa dos meus inimigos; aplana diante de mim o teu caminho.

9 F or there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

Porque não há fidelidade na boca deles; as suas entranhas são verdadeiras maldades, a sua garganta é um sepulcro aberto; lisonjeiam com a sua língua.

10 D estroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

Declara-os culpados, ó Deus; que caiam por seus próprios conselhos; lança-os fora por causa da multidão de suas transgressões, pois se revoltaram contra ti.

11 B ut let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Mas alegrem-se todos os que confiam em ti; exultem eternamente, porquanto tu os defendes; sim, gloriem-se em ti os que amam o teu nome.

12 F or thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Pois tu, Senhor, abençoas o justo; tu o circundas do teu favor como de um escudo.
