1 Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

2 L et them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my life; let them be turned backward and put to confusion that desire my hurt.

Kia whakama, kia pororaru ngatahi te hunga e rapu ana i toku wairua: kia whakahokia ki muri, kia whakama te hunga e hiahia ana kia he ahau.

3 L et them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

4 L et all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee, and let such as love thy saving health say continually, Let God be magnified.

5 B ut I am poor and destitute; make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

Ko ahau ia, he iti, he rawakore; hohoro mai, e te Atua, ki ahau: ko koe toku awhina, toku kaiwhakaora; kaua ra e whakaroa, e Ihowa.
