1 ا للهُ مَلِكٌ. فَلِتَرتَعِدِ الشُّعُوبُ خَوفاً! يَجلِسُ عَلَى مَلائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمَ. وَلِذا فَلْتَهتَزِّ الأرْضُ أمامَهُ.

Jehovah reigneth: let the peoples tremble. He sitteth cherubim: let the earth be moved.

2 ا للهُ عَظِيمٌ فِي صِهْيَوْنَ! مُمَجَّدٌ هُوَ فَوقَ كُلِّ الشُّعُوبِ!

Jehovah is great in Zion, and he is high above all the peoples.

3 ل َيتَ الشُّعُوبَ تُعَظِّمُ اسْمَكَ المَهُوبَ! قُدُّوسٌ هُوَ!

They shall praise thy great and terrible name,—it is holy!—

4 أ يُّها المَلِكُ الجَبّارُ الَّذِي يُحِبُّ العَدلَ، أنتَ رَسَّختَ الإنصافَ، وَحَكَمْتَ بالعَدلِ وَالبِرَّ فِي يَعقُوبَ!

And the strength of the king that loveth justice. Thou hast established equity: it is thou that executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5 م َجِّدُوا إلَهَنا ، وَانحَنُوا عِندَ مَوضِعِ قَدَمَيهِ، قُدُّوسٌ هُوَ.

Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at his footstool. He is holy!

6 ك انَ مُوسَى وَهارُونُ مِنْ بَينِ كَهَنَتِهِ، وَصَمُوئِيلُ مِنْ بَينِ مَنْ دَعُوا بِاسْمِهِ، دَعَوْا اللهَ فَاستَجابَ لَهُمْ!

Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name: they called unto Jehovah, and he answered them.

7 ك َلَّمَهُمْ مِنْ خِلالِ عَمُودِ النّارِ وَعَمُودِ الدُّخانِ. وَحَفِظُوا العَهدَ وَالشَّرِيعَةَ اللّذَيْنِ أعطاهُما لَهُمْ.

He spoke unto them in the pillar of cloud: they kept his testimonies, and the statute that he gave them.

8 أ نْتَ استَجَبْتَ لَهُمْ يا اللهُ إلَهُنا! أظْهَرتَ لَهُمْ أنَّكَ إلَهٌ غَفُورٌ وَعاقَبْتَهُمْ عَلَى أفْعالِهِمِ الشِّرِيرَةِ.

Jehovah, our God, thou answeredst them: a forgiving God wast thou unto them, though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.

9 م َجِّدُوا اللهَ إلَهَنا، وَانحَنُوا نَحوَ جَبَلِهِ المُقَدَّسِ! لأنَّ اللهَ إلَهَنا قُدُّوسٌ!

Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at the hill of his holiness; for holy is Jehovah our God.
